S: From Us to You
FC: From Us..... To You
To Priscilla Congratulations to you! With all our love, Dad, Mam, Evey, Mary & ÚUna | 28 April 2012
To Priscilla, What can we say now; you are all grown up and ready to start a new life with Rory. But you will always be our little girl and we have wonderful memories. I now feel its safe to wrap a box of sweets and know it will be still full when I give it to someone as a gift! Who is going to skull the cattle and dose them now with Dad? Just to wish you every happiness and a long and happy life with Rory as you embark on married life. All our love, Mam & Dad x
 Sisterly Love!
Swing Sella, Swing As soon as I had “half” a side kick, we were off! It’s one of my favourite stories from Mam, from when we were small. Swing out of the cot, land safely on a strategically placed stack of teddies, up to the kitchen on a Saturday morning to watch cartoons, whilst eating Rice Krispies, dog included, hovering up the trail no doubt. I still love a bowl of Rice Krispies. As your big sister, I’ve been there through a lot of the big days. I remember your first day at school, almost better than my own, maybe because I was warned to mind you! I remember the day you were flower girl, your first Holy Communion, I even remember your first Tooth Fairy visit, and the massive efforts at attempting to “tuck you in tight”! Your first day at Secondary, hopping onto Paddy Kilbride’s bus behind me; lost in your uniform!! And of course, college! We had great times – your first year, my last. You were instrumental in the 21st celebrations I (kinda) remember drinking stuff I’d never heard of and I worked in a bar! So, after sitting thinking of all the memories, I can’t even begin to tell you how honoured I am to be part of this big day. As you start a very new chapter in your life, know that we are all still beside you, every step of the way, just like we always have been. May you and Rory have all the happiness, love, laughter, health and wealth you deserve. Love you, Evey x
 From Evey
Dearest Sel! Firstly – I can't believe your wedding is finally upon us! It's such an exciting time and I cannot wait to come home and celebrate your big day! We wanted to put this book together as something you would remember forever more and something you can look back on as your life as a Neilan – now that you are crossing over to O’Sullivan territory, nice territory might I add! A run through of a few memories.........best ‘waffle fryer’ of the clan, not sure how you did it but they were always nicely crisped and that splash of Vinegar & Salt was just to die for (not to mention that they were a heart-attack on a plate!!). The endless nights we lay and chatted when sharing a room, and on a few occasions having to share/shout our conversation across the hall for Una’s input! I will always remember the night you woke up, it was only about 11pm, and I managed to convince you it was Monday morning and told you it was time to get up – no sooner had I it said and you were sitting at the end of the bed putting your tights on!! The many times you assisted Mam with louring me out of the bed with a fried egg on school mornings..........your positive attitude when it came to changing cattle ‘lets just get it done Mary’ – besides sitting and moaning about it like me!! Let's see...youth disco's – you were like our mobile hairdresser!! You tried your arm at everythingMel C & Alesha from Mis-Teeq hair styles – you slowly moved onto perfecting the perfect make-up for nights out – Eyes were your specialty!! The huge amount of your baby sitting money that was spent on after school treats on the bus home from Newtownforbes! I do not know how we did it but we managed a packet of crisps and a chocolate bar for the 50 minute journey and still had room to fit in a dinner when we got home at 5pm. Where did we put it all!! That Sunday walk to Paddy Trautt’s for the newspapers, stuffing our faces with anything we could afford and the stashing the wrappers in the glow bug!! Ill never forget my first night out in Ros after my junior cert results, I somehow managed to get into Gatsby's (and you were in Rockford's, with the Tatlers crew) and lets just say, I was not in good shape when you met me afterwards. We failed to get a taxi home, stood at 8 ‘till late waiting on Mam and Dad to pick us up and the one thing you asked me to do ‘do not talk on the way home Mary’ – I didn't heed and never shut up the whole way home!! I think I let the cat out of the bag that night!! I could go on and on but Ill save some of the stories for another time. What can I say.I’m so happy that you have found someone like Rory, you are such a beautiful couple and I know the will take care of you. You two are set up to have a fantastic life together and you deserve nothing better. I’m so honored you picked me as your chief bridesmaid, you don't know how much that means to me and I will always remember the big trip you both took to visit us in Melbourne and the memories, including the secret engagement celebrations! Thanks for always being there for me and for being such a wonderful sister! I wish you a lifetime of happiness with Rory and being an O’ Sullivan! Lots of Love, Mary x

Sella, So you’re really going ahead with it all???? Ha ha! Well I remember the first time I met Rory. I was only a young one and you brought me and two of my friends down to Ballinasloe for what was our first night out. specific details not needed but I remember (vaguely) Rory carrying all the shoes (6) on the trek home! The second time he met another Neilan was at a county final and he met Mary. Lets just say she was not happy after being taken off for political reasons to let an auld one on. she took the boots of and flung them at a fence that was very near to Rory!! He probably didn’t know what he was letting himself in for!! So this is the part now where I tell You how much I think of you. they say ‘imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’ when I was at a loose end and didn’t know what I was going to do in college, the decision to do Nursing was very much as a result of seeing traits in you that were so admirable- kind, caring and considerate! (Still working on them myself!!!) Being the youngest ye three spoiled me and its only in later years that I realised it, the money you earned with babysitting and in Sam’s and Tatler’s was generously spent on sweets for us all and remember when we used to get the bus into Longford of to Galway for a look around the shops - that’s where the spending on clothes addiction started! (Sorry Rory!!) It’s an exciting time for you and Rory and it’s the first wedding in our house and that makes it so exciting for us all Sella. We’ve known Rory now for so long, me, since I was 16 and it’d be hard to imagine you without him and look on the bright side least you don’t have to move to Laois!!! So best of luck in the married life ye two, I wish Health and happiness and enough of everything that ye wish for! Love Úna x

To Priscilla, Where do I begin to say a few words about you, well for a start I never thought on that fateful night in Ballinasloe well over ten years ago would would lead to so many years of happiness and brilliant memory's together. We never seemed to be idle and always had time for socialising and traveling, either in Galway, Athlone or downtown Ballinasloe, or fast forward to our engagement in Australia, which Mary and Mike did a brilliant job of keeping secret until we got home and announced it. Looking back on it I don't know how we fitted it all in! I could go on for a long time but to capture all the good times we had together would take to long and far to much paper, but what I could say here is that your warm, compassionate and big heart is something that will never let me get cold, and I'm looking forward to a lifetime of many more brilliant times together. I'll finish by saying as the song goes, You are the best thing that ever happened to me. Lots of love Rory.
