S: LOS CARNAVALES ~ PANAMA 2010
BC: Solamente en Panamá
 ¡Bienvenidos a Panamá!
Celebrando nuestra primer noche de los Carnavales con Rica y Eduardo en Las Tablas. | It was loud & crowded but there were palitos on every corner, music playing all over the square & the cheapest cervezas around!
Las reinas de Calle Abajo y Calle Arriba. | The night would not be complete without jumping on a float & channeling our inner dragons! RAWR!
Note to self: Wear SPF 50 or higher during the day. Unless you'd like to have U-shape sun burns. | Believe it or not, no one knew how to fist pump. Naturally we had to demonstrate. How to do the "mom look"
Day two of Carnavales can be summed up with a few delightful phrases. ¿Qué sopá? Feliz cumpleaños Karin! & last but certainly not least ... "I"ve got a feeling ... I know you want me"
Ending our last night in Las Tablas with a bang! DJs, fresh beats, reggaeton & bright colors. It was as if we were at an 80's MTV dance party. DISCO DISCO, GOOD GOOD!
¡PICTURE! ¡PICTURE! | A midnight stroll | Encontramos un amigo para Juan Diego. | El sapo se llama Spike San Diego.
Who knew Panameños love karaoke? We brought down the house with "Don't Stop Believin"
Lookout Partridge Family! | The Modes Clan likes to sing & dance too!
The Amador Causeway, connecting three islands, has amazing shops, restaurants, bars, daytime activities, & an great view of Panama City's coastal line. | Wining & dining at the Causeway con los primos.
Loving the sangria a little too much! | ¿Uno más?
The only restaurant we went to with an "American" inflation.
Celebrando los cumpleaños de Andria y Karin en la casa de sus abuelos.
The beautiful all-inclusive Playa Blanca | Complete with bebidas, banana boat rides, horse back riding, una discoteca, snorkeling & of course, karaoke.
Our last night in Panamá. Los primos took us out to Dad's pizza place, Napoli. After a bottle & two pizzas we then went to a sky bar overlooking the Causeway. Vanessa "wet her pants" & guess who spilled the drink?
Juan Diego proved himself to be a worthy racer in Mario Kart. Rematches are in order between Waluigi, Baby Peach & Mario. From expensive phone bills to neon push buttons, this was a trip that was truly unforgettable. El próximo viaje quiero comer más yuca, montar una chiva, y visitar Casco Viejo, Gamboa y Bocas.
