10: Merry Christmas! | 2008

12: FBC SkiTrip '08 Taco asked Josh, Mick and I to go on the youth ski trip again...Josh as a leader and Mick & I as the photographers, tech team, and cooks. Since our cost was covered as "staff", we "sponsored" Leah's best friend, Krystal Murray. She had a blast, and so did Josh and Leah. The weather was perfect...not too cold, but fresh snow 3 of the 4 days we were there. Again an incredible time of fellowship, worship, and nature.

17: Happy 7th B-day, Anna!

19: Big Brother, Josh... | He can always make things better... When Josh decided to commute this year instead of living in the dorms, Anna was excited...she hated not having her brother around...

20: Way to go! She ended 1st grade with all "A's and is starting 2nd grade the same way!




25: EASTER | happy | Anna was glad the Easter bunny found our camper in the woods.

35: The kids and I decided to try and pull off a surprise for Mick's big birthday. Parkway Chevrolet let us hang this sign up a couple of days before his b-day...the car ended up not actually being ready on this day, but he was thrilled with the surprise of ordering it at all.

36: The Camaro has angry eyes... but a very sexy rear...

37: Family & Friends were waiting at Parkway to help celebrate with fajitas for lunch and cookie cake for dessert.

42: Fred J. Miller Color Guard Summer Camp | July 2009

43: Leah's Colorguard won one of the six outstanding school awards, and three of the six individual outstanding leadership awards- to Jade Lombard, Krystal Murray, and Leah. I was very proud of her...

44: More Summer B-days!!

45: Anna's musical debut with her first solo and speaking part at choir camp...she didn't miss a beat | We pray she keeps her hunger for Christ and the Word...she is always the first one ready for church...Bible in hand...on Sunday and Wed nights too

48: Macy and Grace came with us on our camping trip to Artesian Springs...we had a great time!!

53: Lily | Welcome to the family...

54: Anna's big decision. . .

55: . . .she accepted Christ right after choir camp, and she was not happy that it took us over a month to schedule her baptism. She was so excited when the day finally came. Bro. Jesse told the whole church that he wished everyone would throw a fit about being baptized as soon as possible like Anna did...

56: Dance! | Sing!

57: For Leah's party, she chose a swim party with a movie theme twist. We did a montage of all the best movies and showed it outside on the projector "drive-in" style...while they sat in the hot tub... | Leah's Sweet 16! | Decorations included boxes of movie candy, and "reels" of Leah pictures hanging along the back of the house. | Laugh! | Swim!


60: Glowstick Dive! | Chicken!.. | Dry ice in the pool makes spooky smoke! | No lights...1 pool... 2 teams...36 glow sticks...lots of fun

61: Sept. 18th, 2009 | LARP battles | And when the swimming was wrapping up, Josh helped them get their second wind by taking orders and making frappes for everyone...

67: When Mick couldn't take Anna on their usual campout because of his call schedule, he promised he'd take her on a date instead. He decided very quickly that she will make someone a very high maintenance wife someday...a visit to the Children's Museum, lunch at the Aquarium...rides, and then a carriage ride downtown.

68: A great Guard marching season! Leah's leadership and teamwork made it to the newspaper and won her a trophy. She lettered with her awesome solo, and got her jacket, and they took 1st place at the Sam Houston Contest.


70: Mick and I were on our cruise for Halloween this year, so Leah and Anna went trick or treating with A, and Josh went to OniCon with friends | Oni-Con '09

72: Leah goes to Fiesta Texas with the MWHS Band and Colorguard

73: Leah goes to the Nutcracker Ballet with the MWHS Colorguard
