FC: I am here . . . I exist Someone cared enough for me to take my picture | Nicole
1: Nicole, It's your birthday and I have the usual problem of deciding what to give you. I know you might enjoy many things-books, clothes, & money. But I am very selfish. I want to give you something that will stay with you for more than a few months or years. I want to give you a gift that might remind you of me every Birthday. What gift could I give (besides already giving you the gift of life) that you couldn't buy for yourself? I thought long and hard and decided to make you this book. I hope it helps preserve your childhood memories and reminds you of where you came from & how you became the person you are today. As your mother it was always very hard not to interfere, having to watch you struggle with decisions and make your own mistakes. But as I look back on your life I realize that you have done a great job, all on you own.. You have made your father & I so very proud. I thank you for sparing us the grief that most parents experience when raising a child. So even though this is your gift from me... I want you to know that I have always felt that you have always been, God's gift to me. Happy Birthday I Love You Mom

26: We took our 1st trip to Myrtle Beach in 1984. The 8 of us would pile into the van on Good Friday & off we'd go. Sneaking into hotels to get a cheaper rate. Anticipating the arrival of the Easter Bunny hopping along the Beach throwing candy for us to catch. The cousins all got along so good.(Can't say as much for me & Marge) I guess if I had to pick a most memorable moment it would either be when Brande got her hair stuck in the fan & Aunt Margie was hitting her & screaming or when Erica wouldn't share her Birthday cake, ate it all & then threw it up.Those were the good old days.
