FC: Chris & Ranae
Hello! We are Cayton and Liam. We are five and two years old. Our parents are Chris and Ranae. We would like to tell you a little bit about our family. We think you are a very special person for considering an adoption plan for your child. | Liam | Cayton
About Us We are just typical boys; we love to play in the dirt, write on the sidewalk, go for bike rides, and play in the bonus room upstairs. We love Buzz, Woody, and Jesse from Toy Story and Mater and Lightning McQueen from Cars. We like putting puzzles together and playing with hotrod cars and trains. We got a really big swing set when we moved into our new house so we are excited for some nice weather to play in the sandbox.
Why we want to Adopt Mom and Dad have plenty of love to go around. Children were always a part of their plan. They both adore kids and manage the pains and joys of parenthood together. Mom had many babysitting jobs growing up and was a nanny for one year for twins. She says this made her really long to be a parent one day. Before we came along our parents were only able to conceive once. They lost their first child to an ectopic pregnancy. They see adoption as a wonderful way to grow a family. We are both adopted and are ready to have a sister join our family through adoption.
Chris | About our Dad Born in California and raised in Tennessee, Dad enlisted in the Navy for four years. He started enjoying golf when he was allowed to go as a child with our PopPop. He says someday he wants to take all of his children golfing with him. A kind heart, humor, and wit are just a few of his great traits. He is a magical and supportive guy. He builds elaborate GeoTrax train track layouts for all of us to play with.
If she returns to work part time, childcare will be provided by grandparents and church daycare. | Ranae | About our Mom She grew up on a farm in rural Iowa. Mom enjoyed farm life, the family life it allowed, and the life lessons it taught her. She plans to finish her degree in Interior Design one day. She can stamp beautiful cards and has been making scrapbooks for each year of our lives. She is a warm and loving mother. She has influenced our love of cooking and baking. She is never afraid to let us get dirty in the kitchen while baking cookies, banana bread, or homemade pizza. We have a lot of fun cooking together.
About Our Family Our parents met almost 13 years ago while working for an airline. Mom still enjoys the dynamic nature of Aircraft Dispatch. The job encourages her to think on her feet and help solve problems. She works four to five days a week. Dad has fulfilled his life long dream, he is a firefighter. He finds gratitude in helping others. He works about ten days a month. Both schedules allow for a lot of fun times with family.
Dad takes great pride in his lawn and Mom loves tending to her flowers and shrubs. They always let us help plant new flowers each spring. Our favorite part is being able to dig in the mud. We really enjoy flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. | We spend a good deal of our time outdoors. We have a pontoon boat and like to go fishing and boating. We are becoming avid campers and love sleeping in the tent. Our last camping trip mom went wading in the river with us to catch crawfish. It was fun but they are so fast.

We have a membership to the Zoo. We get to go trick or treating at Zoo Boo and the Festival of Lights during Christmas. Our favorite is the Birds and Butterflies exhibit in the summer months. | Bee's!
We really enjoy traveling. Mom and dad say we are great travelers. We take a lot of extended weekend trips. We enjoy going to Iowa to visit and help our Grandparents on the farm. We went on a surprise trip to Louisiana to go to an Imagination Movers concert, it was so much fun and we got to swim in the hotel pool. Other favorite vacation spots are Mexico, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore, and San Antonio. We like to travel with our extended family too, its fun having our cousins there to play with. | Our Travels
On Saturdays we wear orange and white to support our favorite college team. Go Vols | A few more of our hobbies..... | We are really big football fans.
Can you imagine how excited we are that the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl this year? | On Sundays it is all about the green and gold to support our favorite NFL team. | The best part of football season is spending time with family and friends. We can always use another cheerleader for our Peanut Gallery. | Go Packers
Our Home | Almost a year ago we moved to a new house on four acres. We live in a small country community. The house has five bedrooms and a playroom. We spend a lot of time outside taking treks on our wooded trails. We have an above ground pool in the backyard. Our house came with a cat as well. We now call it ours and have decided to call her Boo Boo. She doesn't come in the house but we like to play with her when we are outside.
Our parents would like to provide a good education for us and guide us through life with academic, moral, and ethical values. They have shown us how much love and joy can be gained by having a strong family bond. They teach us to have fun in life, helping us deal with the good and the bad times. They show us how to love unconditionally and respect others. They encourage us to honor and stay true to ourselves. | Parenting | LOVE
Their discipline style is age appropriate. There are some days when we push the limits which usually lands us in time out. They try to explain to us what is right and wrong while encouraging honesty. | Discipline | "Hey dad, nothing is wrong, I'm just reading a book."
Ranae's Family | Lisa, Chad, Kaylee, Krista, Cody | Morgan, Karla, Lee, Taylor | Grandma Bev Papa Jim
All of Moms family lives in Iowa about 600 miles from us. Papa Jim and Grandma Bev have tractors, a combine, and a Polaris Ranger on their farm. Grandma makes the best homemade applesauce. Mom is the youngest of three girls. They are about four years apart but they are really close and talk to each other on the phone frequently. Our cousins Kaylee, Krista, Cody, Morgan, and Taylor are so much fun to play with. Mom has a very large extended family. We take fishing trips with them and enjoy playing with our second cousins too!
Fun Times | with Moms family
Nana & PopPop | Chris' Family | Tony, Lori, Ainsley, & Andrew | Greg, Beth, Morgan, & Jacqulyn
All of Dads family lives nearby except our great Aunt Jo. PopPop (Sal) and Nana (Anita) dote on all of us grandchildren. Their many gifts, they call them "happys", always bring smiles to our faces. Dad is the middle child. He has an older sister and a younger brother. Aunt Beth has a pool so our family spends a lot of time swimming and BBQing at their house. Uncle Tony is a firefighter like our dad. Dad's cousin "Aunt Tracy" spends a lot of time with all of us too. Our cousins Morgan and Jacqulyn babysit us sometimes. Ainsley and Andrew are pretty close to us in age and we love to get into things together.
 Fun Times with dads family
 Family means everything to us
sunny days | Adoption has always been an open topic of conversation in our home. We receive letters and pictures from our birth families via the adoption agency.
