1: Gustav Sareyka was born 6/16/1890 in Ober Prober Germany. He served in the German Army as an engineer for Seimens.
2: Gustav married Anna Lange born 5/18/1896 in Rosael Germany
3: Our Family History | Last residence for Gustav and Anna was Danzig Germany where they obtained passports to sail for the U.S.
4: Seimens gave Gustav a recommendation for employment in the U.S. after serving as a foreman at their company.

6: Armin Earnest Sareyka was born 4/25/1925 in Danzig Germany. He traveled with his parents Gustav and Anna Sareyka to Ellis island NY in 1928. | Armin had a sister Annaliese and a brother Henry, both born in the US.
7: Great Grandparents | Armin attended school in Woodbury Heights NJ. He completed through 8th grade and later joined the Navy.
12: Charles Joseph Dunner born 3/4/04 in Philadelphia. PA was one of eight. John, Sara, Charles, Florence, Freda, Marie.Harriett, and George. He died on 1/14/42 in East Woodbury, N.J. | Charles married Edith Cattell born 8/25/09 in Gloucester NJ and she died 3/8/87.
13: Charles and Edith had three children Charles Jr., Doris Helen, and Don Richard. | Charles lives in Leominster Mass and married Terry and they have 4 children, Carol, Charles Jr., Gary, and Glenn. | Don lives in Woodstown NJ and married Dottie and has 2 sons, Don and Dave.
14: Doris Helen Dunner born 1/27/1930 in Paulsboro, NJ.

16: Armin and Doris met Dec. of 1946 and were married 6/14/1947. They have 5 sons: Bruce, Larry, Gus, Jeff, and Steve.

27: Bruce Earnest, named after his father, was born 12/29/1947 in NJ and graduated from Chi HS. Bruce played football and was the best on the field. He joined the US Marine Corp, and was sent to Vietnam. Bruce then married Billie Abel and they have 2 daughters, Melissa and Dana. He continued his education in the field of business (of which he had several) until Entemanns, from which he has now retired. I always said Bruce owned Entemanns, and he would remind me "Mom, I don't OWN Entemanns", but to me he made the company what it is today. Bruce loved dogs and took them everywhere he went. Wherever Bruce was he would have his dogs with him; especially his best friend Bella. Larry Wayne, named after the actor John Wayne, who was one of his father's favorite actors, was born 10/13/1949 in NJ. He also graduated from Chi HS and then was employed by Dupont in the research lab. He also joined the US Army to serve with his brother, and he too went to Vietnam. Larry then married Cheryl Scholes, and they have 3 children Kelly, Brett, and Kirsten. Larry later continued his education and became a draftsman at Sun Ship. Bruce and Larry were the best of friends all through school, and they both enjoyed sports. Larry excelled as a track and field runner. They both loved little league baseball, boy scouts, and roller skating. They both thought they were No. 1! Larry later played football in the Army and soon became a valuable player for them. Armin Gustav, named for his father and grandfather, was born 9/30/1953 in NJ, and graduated from Chi HS. His father never liked the name Armin, so he was not a happy camper about us using his name, so he called Gus "boy" for several months after he was born! (which was fine
28: because Armin always thought he was Tarzan). Later my mother heard a man call his son Gus and told us about it, so his father liked the name and he has been known as Gus ever since. Armin married Laurie Montella and has 4 children: Kyle, Kevin, Keith, and Kristi. Gus loved his older brothers and felt anything they could do he could do too! (surprisingly he could). He also enjoyed sports and excelled in track and field as a runner. He later studied hard and became a preacher and bible teacher. Gus and Steve started their own business and are now operating Master Locators. Jeffrey Don, named after my brother, was born 10/29/1956 in NJ and graduated from Chi HS. When Jeff was little he was always his own man. You never knew where he was or what he might be doing. He had a bad habit of wandering off; he would be in the lake before we had a chance to unpack the car. Jeff married Lorraine Koveleski and they have 2 children Jeffrey Jr. and Jamie. Jeff also was into sports and enjoyed the javelin and shot put in track and field. Jeff owns and operates a bread business. Steve Charles, named after my brother, was born 8/2/1958 in NJ, and graduated from Chi HS. Steve never cared about sports, so his interests laid more in what he could earn and how much stuff he could buy. Of course he had a lot of surfing equipment, cycles, hunting gear and bows, and arrows. He also was the best dressed guy in town, remained a bachelor for quite awhile before he met and married Lorrie Harper. They have 4 children: Trevor, Jared, Dena, and Brooke. Today he co-owns his business with his brother Gus.
29: My boys are my joy, and though God never gave me a daughter, my sons did. Billie, Laurie, Lorraine, and Lorrie, even though they have mothers, they are My Girls. My sons gave me 15 grandchildren and my grandchildren gave me 20 great grandchildren. Am I blessed or what?! I feel like I am in the prime of my life, and I don't know what God has in store for me in the future, but can it get any better than this??? I love my Jesus and I know the joy of being and the fullness of living is found in a heart that is filled with thanksgiving. As I was trying to put this together I couldn't help but get teary eyed over my dad who has been gone 67 years, my Armin who has been gone 30 years, my mom, and my 2 sisters-in-law Terry and Dottie. I miss them greatly, but I'll always have them in my heart forever. My life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding: in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This verse helped me to raise my sons. I Had to trust the Lord and not my own understanding! Galatians 5:22 says "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." The Lord gave me the fruits of the Spirit but my grandchildren have enhanced those fruits with love, joy, and peace etc.
30: My dear grandchildren: Melissa married Jeff Jenkins, Kyle married Tracy Strang, Kevin married Kala Tice, Kelly, Dana married Bret Vendrick, Brett married Christine Young, Jeff married Heather Ryscuck, Keith married Heidi Ryscuck, Kirsten, Kristi married Dan McInnes, Jamie married Tim McNulty, Trevor, Jared, Dena, and Brooke. And of course my great grandchildren:. who tickle me pink, Kylie Nicholson, Colin Sareyka, Hannah Sareyka, Luke Sareyka, Grant Sareyka, Logan Sareyka, Sammy Quasha, Rachel Sareyka, Shona Quasha, Tyler Sareyka, Evan Sareyka, Lea Sareyka, Carter Sareyka, Austin Sareyka, Anna Sareyka, Avalee McInnes, Alaina Sareyka, Aramai McInnes, Braden Sareyka, Brenna Vendrick, who bring me such happiness and joy. With each one born I am younger, and ready to play! I leave you with one of my favorite passages: Philippians 4:4-9 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me - put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you!
