Traeana, Wow, the years have passed so quickly. I will always cherish the summer visits with you. I don't ever remember a moment when you were not a joy. You were always obedient, kind and loving to us. We looked forward to your visits and hoped they would be good memories for you. It was impressive that you and Taylor would get along so well. The whole town of Jamesport knew when you were here and you touched their hearts. It was always great that you improved on your talents always, even when it required you to carry an instrument on an airplane. You continue to be a wonderful adult! I love you and am so proud of you. I am grateful that you are my granddaughter. Love Grama Hopkins

February 2012 Dearest Traeana, I am grateful to have this opportunity to share my feelings with you. I will try to make these few words as meaningful as I can. You are such a great example to me. You have set high standards and goals in your life, worked hard, and sacrificed to reach where you are now. It has not gone unnoticed. Your life will continue to be filled with excitement and all of the wonderful things that a young woman will experience, education, marriage, family, friends, and career. I want you to know how much I love your mom and dad, and owe them a great debt of gratitude for receiving their temple covenants and having to you sealed to them for time and all eternity. Your mom is such a loving mother. She made it possible for us to share many moments in your life by sending you to see us so many times over the years. If you remember anything about me as your grandfather Trae, please remember this. The gospel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is truly the church of Jesus Christ and has been established as the only true church on the earth. My simple goal in life is to live the gospel in a way that I will be judged worthy to have you and the rest of the family reunited together throughout all eternity. There is nothing more important to me. You are in my prayers, by name, every single day, and will be until I leave this earth. I, your grandpa Hopkins, love you:)

Little Girls | Smile | Trae! I love you to pieces and I am SO proud of the beautiful, intelligent lady you have become. I cherish every memory we have, all the time we get to spend together now, and I am excited for the fun things we will do together as adults in the future! I can honestly say that I have a hard time remembering a time when I didn't have you to call my little sister. Here's to always remembering Donkey Kong, Harry Potter, and Categories in the pool. I love you :) Katie

From Little Girl to Beautiful Young Lady | Trae, you and I have been through thick and thin.. I guess that's a sister thing. Ha. I love you so much and I am so proud of who you are. Thank you for being the best example for me to follow. Taylor

The list goes on. Trae, you are such an important part of our lives and always will be. You are our "daughter". 9: Girls Weekend at U of A When your mom, Taylor and I surprised you at Parker House on February 11, 2012. Such a fun weekend of shopping, eating, laughing and going to Mount Lemmon and Sabino Canyon! Funny Memory: Trae freezing her toes off in 37-degree weather on Mount Lemmon because she only had flip flops on! My advice to you: make sure you take the time to experience as much as you can at U of A -- those 4 years of undergraduate work will fly by! Linda | Jeff and I really got to know Trae at NASCAR. All the fun times and fun people...and celebrating Trae's birthday at camp! Trae rocks the tire tread face paint!

Traeana You are a beautiful, smart and amazing young lady, I am so proud of you. I enjoyed several concerts when you were playing violin in High School. One incident I especially remember was so thrilling for me to be a part of. You invited me to your home to be there when you witnessed your love and belief in Jesus Christ as your Lord. Your minister was present and you gave your testimony before him. Your ambition to take advanced classes in High School to be transferred to UofA still amazes me. You will make a wonderful Pediatric Doctor or whatever you decide. I love you and know you will be a success in all you do. So many people say that I have wonderful great granddaughters and I could not agree more. Love Grandma Anderson | Traeana, You are a beautiful, reserved, happy, and talented young lady. You always have a smile on your face. I am thankful you are my granddaughter. You are smart and play your violin so well. I have watched you be a dutiful daughter and take great care of your brothers and sisters when you babysit them. You and Taylor are like two peas in a pod and compliment each other. You love the Lord and exemplify his example in every way. I hope your children will realize what a special and wonderful mother they have. I realize what a special and wonderful granddaughter I have. i am so thankful for you. Love Grandma Valerie Coleman | Grandma's

I have known Traeana for almost 10 years. I cared for her in many ways including school sports physicals, strep throats, injuries and shots. I’ve witnessed the pride in her parents when things were going well and the wrath when things weren't so good!! But overall, I’ve witnessed her blossom into a beautiful and intelligent young woman with an exceptionally bright future ahead. Agnes Oblas, ANP-C | Traeana - We have watched you grow from a young girl into a beautiful woman. Your journey has been awesome to watch and participate in. You are unbelievably smart and fun to be around. You have shown a commitment to your God, your family and friends. 19: We want to thank you for your kindness in making us feel welcome in camp even when we would just drop by after the race. We are glad we became part of the NASCAR Camp Family. We have always enjoyed the joy you have for NASCAR the way you get in the mix of the craziness. When getting your face made up we would wait with anticipation to see your creations. You are one of our Kasey Kahne fans. We are looking forward to many more years of watching you both change and become whatever you want to be. LETS GO RACING . PAUL AND DONNA | Make sure you marry a good one. Pete | Words cannot say how your SMILE has brightened our day. Thanks for coming into our lives. Dale, Zig and Taryn

My most vivid memory of Trae was from her blessing day. I had always dreamed of when I had a little girl, that I would sew her the most amazing blessing gown. When Carisa had her beautiful baby Traeana, I asked if I could sew her gown. Carisa kindly gave me full permission and didn’t even ask what it would look like. Being rather ambitious and excited, I chose the most complicated and intricate vintage pattern at the store. I wanted something extra beautiful for this baby who lit up rooms with her smile and huge eyes and gentle manner. I spent days on the multiple layers and frocking and miniature details. It needed to be perfect for the sweet princess. The day of the blessing came. I can still picture Trae in her Grandpa Hopkins kitchen in her gown of lace and layers being held by her father. I’m not certain whose smile was larger that day; Jason or Trae’s. They both were radiant. Trae didn’t stop being beautiful, radiant and lit up the room on that day. She has carried those characteristics throughout her life in her very essence. Trae inspires others. She brightens lives. She brings the positive out in others. She is strong yet gentle; independent yet welcoming. Thank you Traeana for letting me be a part of your life. | Much love always, Aunt Kahna 2/12/2012

Traeana, I have so many wonderful and exciting memories of you growing up. You were born with a whole head of hair, a very long tongue, and a buddha belly. You were PERFECT! We lived behind your Grama and Grampa’s home when you were a baby. When you wanted to see them you would point toward their home and hold your arm out until we would go visit. You took your first step in Grama and Grampa’s kitchen. Your first word was “daddy”, he was so proud of you. You loved your baby sister more than anything else in the world. You wanted to play with her every moment of the day. Even when you were barley a year old you really helped me with your little sissy. If you were awake you would not let her sleep, because it was always play time. You tired her out so much each day that she slept through the night when she was 6 weeks old. When you were a bit older, you and your little sissy had your own language and would talk like crazy. You grew to love water, bugs, dirt, and headless Barbies. You knew how to swim, knee boarded, ride a bike without training wheels and drive a SeaDoo by the age of four. You were so AMAZING! You could run. Once during softball, you ran after the ball, picked it up off the ground then chased your opponent down and tagged her out. You were the fastest runner on your softball team. Mommy and Jonny bragged to all the softball parents from that day on. You loved to read. You started the Harry Potter books when you were eight years old. I was astounded that such a little girl could read a book that was half her size. You read all the Harry Potter books and gratefully you got me into reading. It was fun reviewing the stories with you and having you explain the storylines

I didn't fully understand. You were and still are so brilliant. As a young woman you blossomed. You were always on the honor role and at the top of your class. You were student of the week in middle school. You ran track and those little legs of yours worked twice as fast as all the other kids but you were FAST. You chose the violin as the instrument that would influence the rest of your life. It was wonderful watching you grow in music. You were a bit rusty at first, but quickly started producing a glorious sound. You were talented enough to join the Southwest Youth Symphony. You entered your last years of childhood with such ambition. You were an officer in Orchestra. You developed the Pre-Med Club. You were a member of the National Honors Society. You volunteered as a track coach for your middle school. You completed high school with so many credits that no one I have ever met has had more than you. You cleaned the house almost every day while doing your home work. I still haven't figured out how you accomplished that one. You chose U of A as your next home early in life and you followed that dream until it became a reality. I am delighted at the choices you made through your short life. Those choices made you who you are now. You are a responsible, reliable, considerate, and knowledgeable adult. Most of all you are my daughter! I just can't believe someone so accomplished and fantastic is MY DAUGHTER!! Thank you so much for being an example for me. I look forward to the many years I get to be your friend. Love, Mom
