FC: Christmas:: The real reason for celebration
Jeremy Lappet always loved Christmas time. He loved it because he got lots of presents on Christmas day.
However, a few days before Christmas, Jeremy's parents told him that they didn't have much money. They also told him that there wouldn't be many presents that year.
Jeremy was very upset when his parents told him that. He began to cry and ran to his bedroom to pout. Although his parents were disappointed that he acted that way, they still felt very badly that Jeremy wouldn't get many presents that year.
The next day was Christmas eve. Jeremy was still a little bit sad that day, but started to cheer up when his parents took him to the park.
As Jeremy played in the sand, he noticed a boy about his age playing in the sand beside him. Jeremy and the boy talked and became friends. The boy and his mother then invited Jeremy to spend dinner with them on Christmas day. Jeremy and his parents were so excited!
When Jeremy got to the family's house Christmas day, it seemed like they were kind of poor. He also saw that there were no presents under the tree. He wondered why, but didn't ask.
The family took him into the kitchen, where a nice, but small dinner awaited him. Jeremy and the family sat down and ate.
After dinner, the family took Jeremy into the living room where the Christmas tree sparkled. Right then, the boy and his mother said that Jeremy could put the star on the top of the tree.
Jeremy put the star on . the tree then asked | politely why there weren't any presents under it.
The mother explained to Jeremy that they had very little money so there would be no presents. However, they get the best gift of all without spending any money. They get to spend time together as a family with love and cheer; and that is what Christmas is all about.
When Jeremy returned home, he saw one present under the tree with his name on it. His parents started saying sorry that they could only give him one present.
Jeremy said thank you to his parents for what they could get him. He also said that all he needs is them and his Christmas is perfect.
 The End!
