1: August 2011 Bama's 60th Birthday PEI and East Coast travels | A | Our trip PEI to meet the rest of the family started very early and lasted two days. It included a few taxis, a couple of planes, a bus and a van rental. We woke up at 4:00 am and began the long trip out east.

23: The next morning Bama and Papa have arrived. The kids do some painting and the boys do some kayaking

28: We went to a cheese farm and got to visit with the animals. Pigs, chickens, and of course the dairy cows. The kids loved it.

41: The kids loved looking for crabs and Tristan was brave enough to pick them up. Even after one pinched him.

42: We did have fun on the toys! | We went to a dinosaur museum, which was really lame. Most of the time was spent at the petting zoo out back (no dinosaurs) and playing with the toys in the play area.

43: The Dads took the kids to the water park, where most of the fun didn't even include the water slides. | Rockets, Trains, Trackers, Boats.

46: Our last day in PEI, we moved out of the Villa and dropped Bama and Papa off at the airport. They flew on to Newfoundland and the rest of us took a ferry over to Nova Scotia. Once we arrived we said our final goodbyes and went our separate ways.

47: We began the Cabot Trail in Louisbourg. Cute little town where Tristan saw men fishing off the bridge and they even let him try it himself.

57: We headed to our next stop - Pleasant Bay - to do some whale watching. But during our drive the winds picked up and when we arrived all the whale watching tours were canceled due to strong rain storm.. We were disappointed but the waves were incredible! We spent some time at the whale museum and the next day we took in the beauty of the area.

59: We continued on the beautiful Cabot Trail and made a few more stops to enjoy the scenery. We also came across a creepy display of scarecrows.

60: Our last stop before dropping in at Nanny and Grampa's was also our last stop for lobster

62: One last little adventure brought us to a great park in Truro where we took Tristan up Jacob's Ladder and around the park. Then we headed to the airport to return home. Trip complete.
