 Friday 24 Sept 2010
Hoist by mine own petard, or rather by my Elephant Feet! | Last year I got larger wheels for my hoist but discovered that my Elephant Feet bed raisers didn't lift the divan quite high enough for my hoist to go under, so ended up with them under the profiling bed. Never again!
 Saturday 25 Sept 2010 | Breakfast time
 Deer breakfast-time too!
Not quite feet on the table! My chair can't quite go that high.
 Oh, deer!
 Sunshine through the trees
 Views inside
 Some more!
 Yet more
Upstairs ... or the "Goldilocks Syndrome"
 Stop! Thief! | Caught red-handed
Anyone for a Cream Tea? | After only a few minutes on the profiler I talked Nic through getting me onto the divan on the diagonal for the night. The next morning I used my knowledge of the site to go looking for something small to go under the wood blocks to lift the divan just high enough for my hoist to go underneath the bed.
After our impromptu 'borrowing' and finding noone wanted Cream Tea, we went into Wareham for a quick look around, deciding to return on Monday.
Sunday 26 Sept 2010 | After a 'pub' lunch at Dylan's in Lytchett Minster
Monday 27 Sept 2010 | Mooching around Wareham
 Inside Lady St Mary church
A curious sign at the gates of the church yard! | What do the occupants of the wheelchairs do???? | Access is available for pedestrians and wheelchairs
Having a snack | An oddity about Wareham is that there isn't a town WW1 war memorial. The two churches we saw each had a memorial but, in the case of Lady St Mary church, beyond the dates there is no engraving around the base. I don't know about the other one though. THe guide book says there is a D-Day memorial on one street we didn't investigate.
 Tuesday 28 Sept 2010 | Oh ----------- deer!
 Some crepuscular deer
Peace and quiet to write ...
 And then to ...
What is going on here? | Do the apes know something we don't?
This one was far more interested in my chair than me!
Not apes or chimps but guinea fowl at Monkey World
 Absolutely no comment!
Bet you couldn't do that again, Nicole! | Me messing or monkeying around
 Oh dear me ......
 .... more deer!
Wednesday 29 Sept 2010 | Corfe Castle in the rain
Then we drove around a bit and ended up at Kimmeridge Bay
 Information board
 Clavell Tower
 Panoramic views
 of Kimmeridge Bay
 Thursday 30 Sept 2010 | Views from the back of the cottage. A roof-top fern! | -

 Pure magic!
Going for the "Slow Train" ........... ..................... at Blandord Forum
A very 21st Century barber in Blandford Forum!
 Other shops visited
Seen in the windows of a restaurant in Blandford Forum ...
.... alas, they were just paper edging!
Friday 1st October | Due to the sodden nature of the day (and our departure) no photos were possible. | Some reminders of better days though ....
