ThroughThrough the years the yearstT | Through the Years............. | Tony is a great friend ! We had two grade clubs- Lance and Venida. We had many events together. We had a wonderful time in high school. The girls taught us how to dance fast.! It seems every event had a dance with it! Jack Hanson

 The Parties over the Years!

 Friends!

 118 Shelby Street

Some of my many houses! | View from my front door on Riverside Drive!

Tony, Happy 75th Birthday and welcome to my world! Remember: -"go get the sheriff? -"you ate my caboose" -"people are dying to go there" (daddy on Sunday P.M. drives whenever we passed a cemetery) - buchty and kolachky and apricot pie - cheerios and balony/ketchup sandwiches and tomato soup -The show -Haydent, Winderonire and Colony theaters. -Christmas day at Teta Mary's with everyone reminiscing about the "good ,old, bad old days" especially about their" eccentric "father! -New Years Eve at Teta Mary's with us upstairs and all the fun downstairs. -Christmas Eve at Baba's with the sheet between the living and dining room- good times. -you sleeping with a nylon stocking to maintain your d.a. -on 149th St, you could and did go anywhere--I, the older sister, had to stay in the yard. (still makes me mad!) -Going to the Shaw pool (10 cents int the A.M. and 15 cents in the P.M) every summer. -Although in many ways we're very different people who have gone in different directions, we have shared an enjoyable background plus we have a similar sense of humor. (possibly from the Sunday drives and the cemetery joke!) Mama once said that at 80 years she felt like she always did-how could that be?-but now we know it's true. Have the very best 75th with all the most fun and interesting things yet to come! Your stay at home sister, Lois

 World’s greatest Grandpa!

I took this picture! | Papa, My graduation has come and gone and i hope I have made you proud. I have been blessed with many opportunities and experiences in my life. Many of these opportunities and experiences were thanks to you. You always talked to me about why you had such a seire to trave the societies, amd ways of life. When I was a sophmore in highschool, I was hesitant to partake in my mission trip to Haiti, But you told me how exciting and beneficial this oopportunity was and inevidibly convinced me to go. Looking back, that trip is still one of the greatest experiences of my life. Two short years later, I was graduating from high school, and you gave me the opportunity to travel anywhere in world with you. I chose Italy because of the food, people and my increased interest in the Roman ruins. During that trip, I met many of the people you lived and walked with while you lived there. Everyoone of them had a memorable story about you and Grandma and I could see the impression you and Grandma left on their lives, just as they had on yours. I learned alot about you and Italy, and alot about myself as well. That trip ultimately verified my interest in the world. beyond the United States borders. It was one of the largest reasons I chose to study international buisness. I have successfully completed college and I am in a great position for a promising future due to your ongoing support, motivation, and involvement in my life. 12: Love you Gramps!.

World’s greatest Grandpa! | Dear Papa Tony, To start off, happy 75th Birthday! I can't imagine how much you have seen in your 75 years, but I admire all you have done and I hope to be as successful as you are when I am your age. I appreciate all you have done for me to help me with accomplishing all my goals in life; weather it's moral support or helping me out with school to achieve my dreams academically. I believe you're a big part in helping me be who I am today. The biggest dream of mine , being a Cardiovascular Technician, is so close and I'm in the process of beginning the program. I wouldn't have made it this far without the support of you. I wish Grandma was here to celebrate the big event with us but I know she is in heaven right now doing so. I remember all the memories of visiting Kentucky the last 20 years. The long walks to the Reds stadium and we always listened to Lion King in your car I hope you enjoy your Birthday to the fullest. Love, Leah
