1: A is for Alpha centauri it is the closest bright start in our midnight sky.

2: B | B stands for Bolide an exploding meteor

3: C | C stands for constellation a group of starts that make cool images in the sky.

4: D | D stands for Double star it means a grouping of two stars.

5: E stands for Evolved star when it at the end of its time they don't shine no more.

6: f stands for Fireball its a very bright meteor.

7: G stands for galaxy a Large system of about 1oo billion stars

8: Stands for Hydrogen the lightest most abundant element

9: I stands for Igneous rock that once was lava.

10: J stands for Jovian planets its the outer four planets. Jupiter, Saturn,Uranus and Neptune.

11: K stands for Kelvin its a scale that measures very cold temperatures.

12: L stands for local group it is a small group of about two dozen galaxies.

13: M stands for Magellanic clouds two small galaxies found out side of out galaxy the milky way.

14: N stands for Nebula it a cloud of dust and gas in space.

15: O stands for open cluster it a group of young stars.

16: P stands for planet a very large body in orbit around a star.

17: q stands for quasar a bright object found in remote areas in the universe.

18: R stands for Rhyolite its a fine grained rock

19: Stands for star it is a giant ball of gas that creates and shows there own radiation nuclear fusion.

20: T stands for telescope it for you to see some thing real far away but makes you see up close.

21: U stands for umbra a area of total darkness in the shadow by an eclipse

22: v stands for Vent is an opening the crust through which volcano's erupt.

23: Stands for white dwarf its a very small white star.

24: x stands for x-ray astronomy the study of objects by the x-rays they emit.

25: Y stands for young when a surface is young means why the surface has just been made.

26: z stands for zodiac an imaginary belt across the sky.
