FC: Jay & Elizabeth
Welcome to our life! We thank you for looking into this glimpse of our lives and hope you enjoy the journey.
Dear Expectant Parent, We want to express our appreciation to you for considering us as the adoptive parents of your child. We know that this is a difficult decision for you and you have our eternal respect for this brave choice you are making. We cannot claim to know the conflict and pain of placing a child for adoption, nor will we pretend to understand what you have gone through and are experiencing at this moment but please know that you are in our prayers. It is very apparent that at the crossroads which you find yourself, your child is what is most important to you and we admire your great sacrifice. Adoption is not about giving a child up. It's about giving a child a gift through love and sacrifice. Should you choose us as the adoptive parents of your child, please be assured that your child will be raised to know of this loving sacrifice which you are making and that your child will be raised in a home of faith, love and respect. With Warmest Regards and Prayers, Jay and Elizabeth
The Story of Us We met in early 2004 through mutual friends. Our first date was a hockey game and we both knew we had met our match. We were married on March 25, 2006 and we have a strong relationship rooted in love, faith and commitment. We share the same core values and beliefs which, to us, is vital to a strong and lasting relationship. We share many of the same interests but we also enjoy our individual passions as well. This provides our relationship with a balance that keeps us strongly tied together. We look forward to the day when we have a child with whom we can share our tremendous love.

About Elizabeth (by Jay) When I first met Elizabeth, I knew that she was someone I would really like | to get to know better. A few weeks later we went to a hockey game for our first date, and we had so much fun that afterwards my face was hurting from smiling so much. That set the tone for our friendship, marriage and life together, and why I think she will make an amazing mother. Elizabeth is an incredibly talented woman, who embraces everything with passion and fearlessness. At the same time, she also has a deep love for children and animals, and has a very caring and tender side. She is my best friend, partner, wife, and I can't wait to be a parent with her.
About Jay (by Elizabeth) Jay was an easy choice for me. I knew on our first date that he | was the man I wanted to marry. We are a really great match because we compliment each other in so many ways and balance each other out. I appreciate how his qualities mesh with mine. He's a very supportive and optimistic partner and he allows me to be myself. He has a very easy-going approachability about him and I know he has all of the qualities which will make a great father who will earn the respect of his child(ren). I look forward to parenting alongside him and could not imagine a better partner, father and provider.

Why We Chose to Adopt As you lovingly choose the family with whom you may ultimately entrust with this great gift from God, please let us take a moment to explain why we have chosen adoption. We want to raise a child. After trying for many years to conceive naturally with one early miscarriage in the process and no success since, it became apparent that bearing a child would prove to be a difficult process with multiple fertility treatments and only a marginal chance of success. After seeing what heartbreak and disappointment friends have been through on that path, we decided to let go and pray about it and allow ourselves to be led by God and His plan for us. Adoption is that plan and it is the path on which we belong and we are so very excited for this blessed opportunity. We are a loving couple with strong family bonds and we have a wonderful life, which will only be made better with the chance to raise a child in a loving, safe and nurturing environment.
