34: Lewa Tracker Dogs The two bloodhounds and their handlers are a useful tool in tracking poachers. They demonstrated how the dogs can track poachers by the scent left from their footstep. Our "poacher" Sarah, was easily tracked.
35: The Elephant Corridor A new highway underpass was constructed to join two herds of elephants separated by fences and a major highway..but would the elephants use it? The answer: YES! One week after completion a large bull elephant named Tony was the first to use the new concrete culvert under a busy road!

50: With only 750 mountain gorillas left in the wild, the Uganda Wildlife Authority is working hard to save them. Their biggest threat: deforestation. Locals cutting down the forest to grow tea. This picture shows the line between forest & where the forest has been cleared for crops, shrinking the gorillas habitat and food source.
