10: Viet Nam is an emerging country. Note the skyscrapers vs. slums. Scooters were everywhere,carrying everything! Crossing the street was a challenge!

17: Peace Statue | Fountain of Peace | The faces of the atomic bomb victims contained within the sun form a paper crane and symbolize the vital importance of peace.

18: Paper Cranes and water at the Peace Park | "INFINITY" | Japanese students who presented us with cards at the pier. We were serenaded by an all girl band when we set sail.

20: Visit to Ja-Gai-Ch'i, a famous seafood emporium. It was fun watching the live squid and eels try to escape!

21: Tiananmen Square Beijing | Locals wanted pics with 'foreigner!'

25: Yes, he ate a scorpion. Crunchy, but satisfying. | DINING IN CHINA | No we didn't eat here!

26: Local people at the summer palace and in the parks singing and performing.

27: The Marble boat at the Summer Palace | The Temple of Heaven | Rickshaw ride through the hutong in Beijing. We toured and saw how people used to live before condos and gentrification of Beijing.
