Mark Anthony Turner Born December 30, 1961
Live to Ride | Mark & Brandy
My life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather I will skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming ... WOW... What a Ride! | "Turbo" | Colorado Rocky Mountains
 You and Me Forever | November 2, 1979 The Beginning | November 2, 2004 25th Anniversary
What Is A Husband? A husband is that "special guy" that you yourself picked out... As being nice to be around and nice to think about... The one you wanted most of all to share your hopes and schemes... The one you're glad you waited for...the answer to your dreams... The one who made your life worthwhile, your happiness complete... A husband may not speak of love as often as he should... Because he feels the love you share is clearly understood... And yet, he let's you know he cares in countless little ways... And it's his smile you count upon to brighten cloudy days... So, all in all, a husband is a pretty special guy... And naturally, you love him more as every day goes by... And even when you do not say the things you feel about him... Or tell him just how meaningless life would be without him... You think somehow he understands...you're proud to be his wife... And that his love will always be...your greatest joy in life.
The first time I met Mark was: In 1978 his aunt invited me to come home from church with her one Sunday - she said she had a nephew my age that she wanted me to meet. She introduced us when we were 16 years old. We have been together since that day. My favorite thing about Mark is: His love for his family and his loyalty to his friends. | The happiest I ever saw Mark was: The day our daughters Christen and Jessica were born, the day our grandson Colt was born, the day he got his first Harley Davidson motorcycle and the day Jessica, Colt and me killed our first deer all with his help. | My True Love | The funniest thing I ever saw Mark do was: Chasing our daughters through the house with toilet paper covered in chocolate syrup or vaseline. They fell for it every time! Now Colt has become his victim of mischief!
My most memorable moment with Mark was: The day we were married, the birth of our daughters, the birth of our grandson, our 25th anniversary cruise and every moment we spend on the Harley. | List five words that describe Mark: Loving, Honest, Hard-working, Loyal and Dependable | A personal birthday wish for Mark: I hope this is a very memorable birthday and hope to be celebrating many, many more with you. Happy 50th Birthday Baby! I love you with all my heart!!! Telia | The dumbest thing I ever saw Mark do was: Put diesel fuel in our Suzuki motorcycle. He absolutely lost it! It was horrible - you just had to be there. Was not funny at the time, but is funny now though!
 25th Anniversary Cruise
Christen Nichole May 28, 1980 | Jessica Lynne May 25, 1982 | From great oaks, little acorns grow. | Daddy, a daughter's first love.
What Makes A Dad God took the strength of a mountain, The majesty of a tree, The warmth of a summer sun, The calm of a quiet sea, The generous soul of nature, The comforting arm of night, The wisdom of the ages, The power of the eagle's flight, The joy of a morning in spring, The faith of a mustard seed, The patience of eternity, The depth of a family need, Then God combined these qualities, When there was nothing more to add, He knew His masterpiece was complete, And so, He called it ... "Dad!"
My favorite thing about Dad is: He is always there for anyone whenever you need him. He loves his family. He will listen to anything I want to talk about and give me advice whether I want to hear it or not...lol...he's my Dad! Everything about him is my favorite! | The dumbest thing I ever saw Dad do was: He was home one day by his self with me and Jessica and she had pooped everywhere and he was trying to clean her up and had me holding a rag around his face. We were both gagging so he gave up and called Mom at work to come home and clean her! Welcome to fatherhood! | The happiest I ever saw Dad was: When I found out I was going to be having him a grandson and then the day Colt was finally here. He could not wait for Colt to be born. | The funniest thing I ever saw Dad do was: He loved to torture me and Jessica growing up with scaring the crap out of us and throwing stinky fish bait on us while in the bathtub. But one memory that stands out most is one night me and Jessica were sitting at a play table we had in our bedroom coloring and I spotted Dad in the window with a pair of Mom's pantyhose on his head. Just as Jessica was handing me the box of crayons, she spotted him in the window and all of a sudden crayons go flying in the air and all over me. She took off running and screaming down the hall.
A personal birthday wish for Dad: I hope you have the greatest, most memorable birthday! Thank you for always being there for me! You are truly the best Dad ever! I love you! Christen | List five words that describe Dad: Loyal, Loving, Caring, Dependable and the greatest person to have as a Dad! | My most memorable moment with Dad was: All the afternoons he would come in from work and tell us to load up and he would let me and Jessica drive him around on the back roads and listen to blues. He would always put my favorite cassette tape in and play "Boom Boom" and jam to the blues. | My most memorable moment with Dad was: When he took me to New York in 1996 for my 16th birthday. It was very neat to see. We rode on a ferry, I got to see the Statue of Liberty and the twin towers which is amazing to look back at now sine the 9/11 attacks. I have pictures to remember that by. We ate at my first Hard Rock Cafe and had our picture taken on an actual Harley at the Harley Davidson Cafe. Dad got tickled at me because I had never seen a prostitute in real life until I went there. I remember she had on fish net hose! And also never seen a homeless person begging for money until I went there either! They were everywhere! Also first and last time I rode in a taxi, that was pretty scary. But it was memorable experience that I get to say I shared with my Dad and will never forget.
My favorite thing about Dad is: Honestly, I have too many favorite things. But I love how understanding and cool he is! Oh and that he helped create me! And I know he loves me and will always be there for me no matter what. | The happiest I ever saw Dad was: The day he brought BaDass home. It was love at first sight for them two. Or, the day I killed my first deer and he got a kick out of smearing deer blood on my face. The dumbest thing I ever saw Dad do was: Every time he sticks a hot dog weenie in his mouth sideways and smiles. Ha! Ha! I'm laughing just thinking about it. | The funniest thing I ever saw Dad do was: When he would always find ways to scare us. He is a big kid. He tied a string to a raccoon and made it chase me when I was a little kid. Scared me to death. But funny!!
My most memorable moment with Dad was: All the times and years it would just be him and me deer hunting or just sitting in the stand for hours. Or just riding around dirt roads with Dad listening to some good tunes. He's the reason I love classic rock and blues. | A personal birthday wish for Dad: Happy Birthday Dad. I love you very much and I'm so blessed to have you as my Dad!! Cheers to another 50. May all your wishes and dreams come true!!! I love you very much! Jessica | List five words that describe Dad: Strong, Good Hearted, Loved, Head Strong, The Best, There's so many words to describe Dad, but these I say are the top five.

A Boy Needs A Papaw A boy needs a Papaw... For man-to-man talks, To go hand in hand On companionable walks. To fix up his toys When they no longer go, To tell him the things Little boys want to know. A boy needs a Papaw... To show him the way To handle a puppy, To teach him fair play. To impart bits of wisdom He's learned through the years, That it's no disgrace For a man to shed tears. A boy needs a Papaw... To sit on his lap And if no one is looking, They take a wee nap. 30: BaDass Beloved Friend 1991 - 2003
Dog - Friend When God made the earth and sky, The flowers and the trees, He then made all the animals And all the birds and bees. And when his work was finished, Not one was quite the same. He said, "I'll walk this earth of mine And give each one a name." And so he traveled land and sea, And everywhere he went A little creature followed him Until its strength was spent. When all were named upon the earth, And in the sky and sea, The little creature said, "Dear Lord, There's not one left for me." The Father smiled and softly said, "I've left you to the end, I've turned my own name back to front And called you Dog, my friend.
My favorite thing about my Master was: Every weekend he would tell me to "load up" and I would jump up into the back of his truck and we would go to town. He would take me through the drive-thru at Hardee's restaurant and order me a sausage biscuit. When we would pull up to the window he would tell the attendant to unwrap mine and throw it into the back of the truck for me. I always got to eat first. I loved it! The funniest thing I ever saw my Master do was: He tried to stop me from killing that coon. He came out in the middle of the night and thought he could make me quit. I almost drowned in the water hole, but I won. I paid for it over the next few days with coon bites and scrapes. He would just look at me and laugh. The happiest I ever saw my Master was: The day he picked me up from Bearden and brought me to my new home. I was introduced to his wife and two daughters with whom I played with and loved very much. He named me BaDass - I guess he knew what was to come in the future. It took a while and a lot of whipping by the neighbor's three dogs, but I prevailed in the end, got my revenge and made my master very happy. Another dog never whipped me again! | B U D
The dumbest thing I ever saw my Master do was: Try and stop me from killing his chickens. He whipped me and locked me up in a cage with a chicken that I had killed that was covered in hot sauce. I stayed there for two or more days and he finally let me out. Even though he put a lot of time and effort into trying to make me stop - it never worked! We came to an understanding that day and he got rid of the chickens. My most memorable moment with my Master was: He would play with me when he came home each day and we would walk through the woods exploring or go to the Raccoon Trail, where I had tons of fun exploring. I would run ahead sniffing of everything as I went along, always knowing he was behind me. He was my buddy! We enjoyed a lot of long walks and talks in the afternoon. | List five words that describe my Master: Loyal, Loving, Stern, Playmate, Best Friend A personal birthday wish for my Master: Happy Birthday Master!
