FC: March 27, 2011 Yet I live, no longer I, but Christ lives in me; insofar as I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who has loved me and given himself up for me. Galations 2:20

To Kyle: The road ahead of you is not an easy one. I have put together this book to help you in those times of struggle~ to remember that you are loved and supported. I admire your desire to live your life and give yourself fully to our Faith and to God. Above all else, please know that I am proud of you and I love you......MORE. Love, Mother

Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. And let perseverance be perfect, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4

Proclaim the word: be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient; convince, reprimand, encourage through all patience and teaching. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires and insatiable curiosity, will accumulate teachers and will stop listening to truth and will be diverted to myths. But you, be self-possessed in all circumstances; put up with hardship; perform the work of an evangelist; fulfill your ministry. 2 Timothy 4:2-5

On this account I am suffering these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know him in whom I have believed and am confident that he is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day 2 Timothy 1:12

The Magnificat "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation. He has shown strength with his arm, he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts, he has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted those of low degree; he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away. He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity forever."

But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of his Son Jesus cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word." Luke 1:38

Therefore I am content with the weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10

Prayer for Faith to St. Joan of Arc In the face of your enemies, in the face of harassment, ridicule, and doubt, you held firm in your faith. Even in your abandonment, alone and without friends, you held firm in your faith. Even as you faced your own mortality, you held firm in your faith. I pray that I may be as bold in my beliefs as you, St. Joan. I ask that you ride alongside me in my own battles. Help me be mindful that what is worthwhile can be won when I persist. Help me hold firm in my faith. Help me believe in my ability to act well and wisely. Amen

Let us beg from our Lady to make our hearts 'meek and humble' like her Son's was. We learn humility through accepting humiliations cheerfully. Do not let a chance pass you by. It is so easy to be proud, harsh, moody and selfish, but we have been created for greater things. Why stoop down to things that will spoil the beauty of our hearts? Mother Teresa

Prayer to the Holy Spirit Come Holy Spirit, fill my heart with Your holy gifts. Let my weakness be penetrated with Your strength this very day that I may fulfill all the duties of my state conscientiously, that I may do what is right and just. Let my charity be such as to offend no one, and hurt no one's feelings; so generous as to pardon sincerely any wrong done to me. Assist me, O Holy Spirit, in all my trials of life, enlighten me in my ignorance, advise me in my doubts, strengthen me in my weakness, help me in all my needs, protect me in temptations and console me in afflictions. Graciously hear me, O Holy Spirit, and pour Your light into my heart, my soul, and my mind. Assist me to live a holy life and to grow in goodness and grace. Amen

Peace I leave with you: my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you | Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid John 14:27

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. Matthew 11:29

And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15

Prayer to St. Augustine Lord Jesus, let me know myself and know you, Let me hate myself and love you. Let me do everything for the sake of you. Let me humble myself and exalt you. Let me think of nothing except you. Let me die to myself and live in you. Let me accept whatever happens as from you. Let me banish the self and follow you. And ever desire to follow you. Let me fly from myself and take refuge in you, that I may deserve to be defended by you. Let me fear for myself, let me fear you. And let me be among those who are chosen by you. Let me distrust myself and put my trust in you. Let me be willing to obey for the sake of you. Let me cling to nothing save only to you. Look upon me, that I may love you. Call me that I may see you. And for ever enjoy you. Amen

O Jesus, for thee I live. O Jesus, for thee I die. O Jesus I am thine, In life and in death. O Sacrament most holy, O Sacrament divine, All praise and all thanksgiving, Be every moment thine.

I consider that the sufferings of this present time are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us. For creation awaits with eager expectation and the revelation of the children of God. Romans 8:18-19

Don't let a busy schedule, worldly concerns or the frustrations we all face in our lives cloud your vision for the future. There is a trophy waiting for you. The key to happiness is not to wait to celebrate it even as your pursuit continues. Remember, if you live in imitation of Christ, like His victory over death, your triumph, too is guaranteed. Just like a confident athlete, you can predict the outcome, even before the game is over. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have enjoyed making it for you. I am always here for you Kyle ~ In Thought, Love & Prayers. Mom
