34: Charlie Fun Facts: - We put you upstairs in your crib for the first time at 10 weeks. Mommy was so nervous about not having you in the room with her - BUT you did just fine and it was the first time you ever slept through the night! - People think you look like the Gerber Baby. - You had a pretty heavy case of cradle cap. Your head looked like a little giraffe. - You are 9 months now and you don't technically crawl! You get where you want to go, but it is pretty unattractive. You can get your legs moving, but you can't seem to get both arms to work at the same time. One always seems to get stuck underneath you! We get a pretty good laugh as you roll and army crawl across the floor. - You love to hold on to mommy's hands and stand up like a big boy. - We gave you a lemon around 8.5 months and you made the FUNNIEST faces! We gave you Sour Patch Kids and it didn't eve phase you. Now when I get out a bag of Sour Patch Kids you get all excited and squeal! You love them! - You love when Grandma and Grandpa babysit you! Daddy and I leave and you just sit in Grandma's arms smiling! It makes it a lot easier to leave you! - You love the Backyardigans! You will sit in your jumper and not move for the entire half hour!
35: Everything Charlie - You started eating Stage 3 foods the first week of January and you LOVED all of it! We gave you a roll at Rolling Hills Country Club and you took a small bite and we decided it was time for you to try solid foods. We gave you banana puffs first and you made the funniest faces every time we stuck one in your mouth. You would taste it and then just swallow it whole! - You started riding in the grocery cart like a big boy the first week of January, too! You love sitting in the cart with your cart cover and the toys attached to it and drooling all over the place while you kick and squeal! The first time we put you in the cart with the cart cover, you drooled so much that Daddy could wring out the drool in the toys you were chewing on! It gave us a good laugh! - We had dinner at the Joiners' house when you were about 8 months old and their big dog Max came up to check you out in your car seat and you started to pout and cry! Later in the evening you two warmed up to him. - I had decided that when you were first born I wanted to do skin-to-skin with you. I was so excited when they handed you to me right after you were born. However, you had a little surprise for me. You POOPED on me! I was so happy you were finally here that I didn't mind! - Daddy changed your first diaper! - Your first babysitter that wasn't your grandmas was Aunt Sara. Mommy and Daddy went to a wedding and Aunt Sara watched you. You were just under 8 months.
