5: Waimea | We travelled the Island in our sporty red jeep. We visited Haliewa, "Surf City, USA". Waimea Bay was a beautiful beach with turquiose blue water. People were jumping off the cliffs into the ocean. We drove Kamehameha Highway daily exploring the coast. The views were spectacular!!!! ### | !

16: Ko' Olina | Ko' Olina is a resort community on the leeward side of Oahu. It is comprised of 4 pristine lagoons with soft white sandy beaches surrounded by new resorts. The newest being built is Disney's "Aulani".
20: Honu | Thanks to Delaney's persistance, we found Laniakea Beach, where the Green Sea Turtles, or Honu (as they are known in Hawaiian) come to feed on the algae and bask in the sun. Many turtles swam in the shallow, rocky bay, at our feet, brushing up against our legs and popping their heads up to say hello.
22: It was a glorious evening for a Luau. A Beautiful venue, gorgeous sunset, food, drink, a great show and time spent enjoying each others company. It was a highlight of our trip and a memory we will never forget.
