FC: Juliek Yitzchak | March 27, 1930-January 12, 1945
1: Juliek Yitzchak was born on March 27, 1930 to his mother, Ruse, and his father, Yair. He was the middle child of five, with two brothers, and two sisters.
2: Juleik's mother stayed home to care for her five children, while his father owned the butcher shop in town. Everyone in town got meat there, so his family never had to worry about money, and he was pretty spoiled.

4: Juliek in his little toy car riding around in his backyard. He was 3 years old. | Juliek grew up in a traditional family. His parents lived right next door to his grandparents, so he and his four siblings were all very close to their grandparents. His family went to the Synagogue every Sunday morning and his parents were strict about making sure that they remembered to say their prayers. They lived a happy life.

As his brother Kefir was only a year older than he was, the two of them spent a lot of time together. His aunts and uncles lived close to his family as well, so he spent a lot of time with his cousins.

8: 13 year old Juliek with his younger cousins Isaac and Naomi. | Mava married a Polish Jew named Gavriel. Juliek was the best man.
9: Juliek and his family were moved into the Warsaw Ghetto.

11: The famous Warsaw Wall | Juliek was transfered to Auchwitz along with his brother Kefir and his father Yair. Both were killed in the crematorium. Juliek then died by being suffocated to death only days before the American Army arrived in Buchenwald.
12: Both Laila and Mava survived. They found each other after the Holocaust. They searched for their parents and their brothers, but in vain. Their mother was killed in the crematorium like Kefir and Yair. Caleb was separated from the rest of his family. Laila and Mava never found out if he survived or not. One of the survivors of the Holocaust had kept the pieces of Juliek's violin. He tracked down Mava and gave her the pieces to remember her younger brother by.
