S: Madden Brayce McAllister~~Birth through 3 months
FC: Madden Brayce McAllister Birth through 3 months July 5th 2011-November 5th 2011
1: M | For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don't be ashamed of me, either, even though I'm in prison for him. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the sake of the Good News. For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:7-9 | Madden Brayce McAllister

3: Birth through the 1st Month (July 5th-August 5th) You arrived quickly on Tuesday, July 5th at 9:09 am. Mommy woke daddy at the first sign of your arrival at 5:45 am and we quickly gathered our stuff, dropped your brother off and headed to the hospital. You were a determined little guy! You weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz and were 20 1/2 in long. Both sets of grandparents and your older brother, Marek came to meet you. After spending the night in the hospital, we took you home the next evening. You were very busy with visitors the first month of your life. It was nonstop aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends...all coming to meet YOU! You attended church with us for the first time when you were 1 1/2 weeks old and you slept...for awhile. Mommy had to take you out and swaddle you and then you were fine. During this month you also went on your first boat ride, to the Scott County fair and learned to smile at your Daddy, Mommy, and big brother! At 2 weeks you weighed 8 lb 13 oz and were 20.75 inches long.

11: 1 Month through 2 Months (August 6th-September 5th) Doing great at sleeping through the night...4-5 hrs at time! Mommy loves this! First time at Emily's for part of a day while Mommy went to the Dr. and ran some errands. Started you on medicine for Acid Reflux. You are a lot happier, but always a good baby. Helped Marek celebrate his 2nd birthday at the county fair. You are such a trooper at such a young age! Made your first trip to Iowa alone with Mommy and Marek. Gpa & Gma Messer and Nat met us part way! We stayed for 2 full weeks. It was fun to introduce you and show you off to your great grandparents and all of mommy's friends! They all loved you! You smile and giggle alot and are doing so well at holding your head up!
13: No one else will ever know the strength of my love for you. After all, you're the only ones who know what my heart sounds like from the inside. | A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty.

19: 2 Months through 3 Months September 6th-October 5th) You weighed 11 lb 13 oz and were 23 in long at your 2 month check. You've been sleeping 6- 6 1/2 hrs consistently at night! You love to talk and yell. Mommy can lay you on the floor while getting ready in the morning and you talk and talk and talk. You always want to stand up when people are holding you. People are always so surprised at how strong you are. Went to Iowa again for a little over a week. While there you watched your first harvest, visited a pumpkin patch, took Messer family pictures, and played with ALL your cousins! You hold toys if someone puts them in your hands and your brother LOVES bringing them to you. Had to get out some 3-6 month jams because you were getting too long for the others. You lift your head really well and don't mind being on your tummy...at least for short periods of time.

You have some on the back and sides, but not nearly as much. You learned to roll over and love doing your new trick over and over. You are such a easy and happy baby. You even will fall asleep while mommy is holding you upright, trying to follow your brother around. You had your first cold an started waking up every 3 hrs in the night.
