She was a United States Senator for New York from 2001 to 2009. As the wife of the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton, she was the First Lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001. In the 2008 election, Clinton was a leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination.

9: Albert Gore served as the 45th Vice President of the United States from 1993 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton. He was the Democratic Party nominee for President in the 2000 U.S. presidential election.

10: M. Night Shyamalan is an Indian-born American filmmaker and screenwriter, known for making movies with contemporary supernatural plots that climax with a twist ending. Shyamalan gained international recognition when he wrote and directed 1999's The Sixth Sense, which was a commercial success and nominated for six Academy Awards

12: Actor Director Rob Reiner first came to national prominence as Archie and Edith Bunker's son-in-law, Michael "Meathead" Stivic, on All in the Family. That role earned him two Emmy Awards. As a director, Reiner was recognized by the Directors Guild of America (DGA) with nominations for Stand by Me, When Harry Met Sally, and A Few Good Men. He also directed our all time favorite The American President.

14: Dick Gephardt served as a U.S. Representative from Missouri from January 3, 1977, until January 3, 2005, serving as House Majority Leader from 1989 to 1995, and as Minority Leader from 1995 to 2003. He also ran for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States in 1988 and 2004.

17: Nancy Pelosi was the 60th Speaker of the United States House of Representatives from January 4, 2007 to January 3, 2011. She was the first woman to hold the office. A member of the Democratic Party, Pelosi has represented the 8th Congressional District of California.

18: Shabana Azmi is one of the leading actresses of Indian cinema. She is a film actress and social activist, and her performances in films in a variety of genres have earned her praise and awards including five wins of the National Film Award for Best Actress. | Shabana Azmi

21: Frank Pallone is the U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 6th congressional district, serving since 1993. Pallone chairs the Committee's powerful Subcommittee on Health. 22: Agha and young Rahul | Agha was an Indian film actor in Bollywood films, who started his film career with the film Daulat in 1937. He was known for comic roles and appeared in over 180 Hindi films in his career between 1937 and 1989 spanning five decades. He was nominated for the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for the 1960 film Ghunghat.

23: Al Franken, Senator fro Minnesota achieved note as a writer and performer for the television show Saturday Night Live from its inception in 1975 before moving to writing and acting in films and television shows. He then became a political commentator, author of five books and host of a nationally syndicated radio show on the Air America Radio network. In 2008, he ran for and got elected as United States Senator from Minnesota

24: Shahabuddin Rathod is a well known and highly reputed Gujarati humorist and performing comedian artist. His comical style is highly respected for being intelligent, free of vulgarity and for fostering communal harmony and deeper understanding of core concepts of various religions including, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Jainism, etc. One of his notable recordings is Vanechand No Varghodo. | Shahabuddin Rathod

26: Madhu Rye | One of the greatest Gujarati writers of our time, Madhu Rye has lived in the United States since 1974. He started writing at an early age- and his short stories became a fad in India in the late 1960s. In 1967, he completed his first full-length play, ‘Koipan Ek Phulnu-nu Naam Bolo. He was awarded the coveted Ranjitram for his lifetime achievement in 2000. He bagged the Bhupen Khakhar playwriting award for his play ‘Sura ane Shatrujit’ in 2004. He has written seven novels, four collections of short stories, eight plays and four collections of one act plays.

28: Great Gujarati poet Adil Mansoori gave modern turn to Gujarati poetry specially GAZALS. His collection of poems like VANAK, PAGRAV, AAYNA NA GHAR MA and MALE NA MALE will remain history | Panna Naik has been living in the United States for many years. She began writing poetry in 1972. She has published 5 volumes of Gujarati poetry, and also translates Gujarati poetry to English. 29: Sitanshu Yashaschandra is among contemporary Gujarati literature’s most eminent representatives. A poet, playwright, translator and academic, he has received several awards over the years from the Sahitya Akademi Award | Harnish Jani | Ram Gadhvi | Harnish Jani is an award winning writer with a unique comedic style that is all his own. He was born on ‘Ram Navmi’. With his humorous touch he says “If Ram knew that I was to born on this date, he would have chosen another date!” . His book Sudhan was published to rave reviews.
