11: Lady Gloriania contemplated the glowing yellow orb that had just fallen into her hand. Her bustle was chafing her badly, and she wondered if the orb had any healing powers. Then, reminded by her large pocket watch that she had an appointment to keep, she hurried on, still carrying the orb. Hopefully her dressmaker could untangle the mystery.
12: Mme. Jonquil felt a little confined in the strange eye-testing machine. Was it really necessary to have the clock movement attached to her corset? It was more than somewhat uncomfortable."Look through the keyhole with your right eye", she was instructed, and she complied. The hands of the clock re-arranged themselves and suddenly she could see very well indeed as the two extra eyes clicked into her vision field.

15: I believe a leaf of grass is no less than the journey work of the stars." Walt Whitman | My Lady Greenheart
17: Maria gazed vacantly into the middle distance. Today had been so tiresome with all the fittings for the medieval outfits for the Grand Costume Ball. Also, the scent of the large flowers was overpowering, and somewhat hypnotic. And, who was this naked child in her lap, and what was the glowing glass object in his hand? He appeared to be offering it to her. She had no memory of having a child, especially one with a strange, numbered circle on his head. And then suddenly, her lap was suspiciously, and very, wet.
