1: Finally Out of Oklahoma | Our first stop is always Capulin Volcano in northern New Mexico. We usually eat lunch at "our" picnic table. On this trip our timing wasn't right to eat, but our table was right where we left it the last time.

4: This was Caitlyn's first trip to the Great Sand Dunes. She was duly impressed and of course wanted to hike to the top. Daddy made it part of the way....momma didn't even try. Caitlyn found an abandoned sled and promptly put it to good use. Alas, she eventually had to relinquish it to its rightful owners when they came looking for it.

9: Can you spot the cabin? | A kitchen fire in the Kalamazoo Hotel in October 1891 destroyed the hotel and thirteen other town buildings. It is believed that only one original building survived this fire. | Built: 1873 Elevation: 11,200 ft. | What a view!

18: We made it over the pass just in the nick of time. By late evening there was 36" of snow at Wolf Creek Pass.
19: FAMILY | We got to spend our final night in Colorado with Aunt Sue and Uncle Jimmy. We had so much fun. Too bad we had to head back to reality the next day!
20: HOME Sweet HOME | Gotta love those Oklahoma skies. | Windmill farm in Woodward, OK | We were glad to get home to our Lilly.
