S: Cooper July - October 2010
Look who is on the move! You are a crawling machine.
Now that you are more mobile you can go on play dates (with Nolan) and help with chores!
Look at your very own train to ride! You love it so much you cry when we take you off it. We have to tape the power button because you are too young to hold it down.
Now we can spend more time outside too!
You pull up and "cruise" on everything! But at 13 months you don't seem close to walking yet. You did find a boy in the mirror to play with!
And a fancy bench from Grammy!
You still love Ivy and her doggy kisses.
And at 13 / 14 months you still put everything in your mouth!
I love seeing you pull up on things!
And the wonder your new view brings you.
Your sleeping habits are changing - you used to sleep anywhere, but now it's harder to get you to nap. And you're eating food more like a big boy!
Let's talk words. At your 15 month visit you had no spoken words, but about 5 signs. (Above is "where?") At your 18th month visit you had 30+ words. You didn't start 2 word sentences until you were 22 months. You first word was "bye" and then "ball"
You're an addict. You love your "suckie". This is your first ever picture snapped and it's a self-portrait! | This what happens when you don't get your fix.
Overall you're a pretty happy little man!
In July we went with Grammy and Grampy to Michigan. Here you are at Durand Union Station.
Cross Road's Village and Huckleberry Railroad
Riding the JVC railroad on a rainy day - but you slept through it anyway! | Then while the rest of us slept you wanted to play!
And in July we also went to Blackberry Farm!
 A fun game of peek-a-boo!
Your first "hay ride". You loved the tractor and the big wheels!
 Your Cousin Easton is born!
Train Layout visit in August 2010. You enjoyed the dog most of all!
Big Run Wolf Ranch Open House. You rode ponies, fed horses and sprayed water on the bears. What fun!
Pancakes at Grammy's house with the cousins is always fun!
You love anything that makes noise!
August 25th at Navy Pier to see the tall ships for Mommy's Birthday. Your first ferris wheel ride and first trip to the Children's Museum
Besides your first pirate ship, ferris wheel and pickle today was the first time EVER you let go of something while standing and stood - for just a second - before grabbing onto something else. You were at the Children's Museum by the "river" you could splash in. Today is Wednesday.
Today is Saturday August 28th. Daddy is napping in the recliner. You have a bucket you're scooting with. We are by the sliding door when you pull up on the door with your bucket in your hand AND START WALKING. Within 2 steps you drop the bucket, grab your chest and take off. You must have taken over 100 steps around the table, down the hallway on your first try. I screamed and woke up daddy. For the rest of the day every time you walked you had to hold your chest like a security blanket.
Grabbing your chest - this pic was within 5 minutes of your first steps. | Here comes Cooper - Day 2 of walking is just as fun! | Watch out Ivy!
Watch out Stroller! | Watch out Trains! | Watch out lawns!
Dad got the trains running outside!
Little Red School House | Helping out with sweeping! | First Popcicle for Cooper and Ivy!
 Safety Days - September 2010
 Pumpkin Farm Visit!
You couldn't say "scarecrow" or "Jack O' Lantern" yet, but you pointed to every one you saw!
 Civil War Re-enactment October 2010
Halloween 2010 Trick or Treating in downtown Lemont, IL. (You didn't like the horsey costume!)
On Halloween Day you wore the Frog costume to go out and collect candy. You really didn't understand why, but you enjoyed the candy and the pumpkins and scarecrows you could point to!
Look at the difference a year makes! (And Mommy's 2 pumpkins)
First trip to the Arboretum October 2010
Daddy set up GeoTrax for you! | Lola, Squeaky Pete & Ivy - Oh My!
Cooper, the holidays are fast approaching. This will be your second Thanksgiving and Christmas and you are so interested in the things around you I know you will love the season! THE END
