Each general body meeting, we complete a service project and complete one hour of service. Many times they are projects that the Kiwanians have asked us to help out with. | Meeting Projects

The project shown here involved pinning ribbons onto handouts that offer a phone number for the Advocacy Center that helps women in abusive relationships.

This meeting we made tissue paper flowers used as holiday gifts by the kids at the Ithaca Youth Bureau.

We also made 'magic' necklaces for the kids that go to the after-school program that Mimi runs. Below is Mimi, a Kiwanian who is very active in helpng Circle K at Cornell be successful.

During this meeting, we put together story books with decorative covers for the Ithaca Youth Bureau. The children filled the books with their favorite stories.

 Membership Night 2010

All the members came together (and a few Kiwanians came to help out) to work on several different service projects in one night.

One service project involved putting stickers in the front covers of thousands of Martin Luther King, Jr. books that were later distributed to the Ithaca community by the Family Reading Partnership. | Circle K is a great club for us to serve our community and meet new friends at the same time!!

PB & J for the Ithaca Homeless Shelter

We love our Ithaca Kiwanians! With their help, we were able to reinstate Circle K as an official club at Cornell!

Another service project at Membership Night was making more journals for the kids at the Ithaca Youth Bureau.

Ithaca Community Projects | It's Halloween weekend and we are at GIAC (Greater Ithaca Activities Center) to go trick-or-treating through a shopping center with children ages 4-10!!

Jessica and Allie (on the left) stop traffic so the trick-or-treaters can cross the street safely. | We had about ten volunteers helping out with this project. It is one project in the bigger program called "Into the Streets," where Cornell students across campus participate in service projects in Ithaca.

Annual Harvest Fest with Greater Ithaca Activities Center | For this event, Circle K helped decorate and serve dinner to the community at this annual fall meal.
