FC: The great depression
 1. What started the depression? The great depression started with the Stock Market collapse of 1929. It then led to people not being able to support themselves, and failing banks. It was hard to do anything anymore. It only got worse as people were watching what little money they had and not purchasing like they use to.
 2. How long did the Great Depression last? Roughly from 1929 to 1941. During that span of time the country (and the world) have drastically changed.
 3. What was life like during the Great Depression? Life was different for everyone. If you were middle class you may have lost your job, your house, or had to be very tight on your budget. If you were on the richer side, it may have put a dent into your funds, or if you were a major investor in the Stock Market you could have been bankrupt. As a African-American, it was harder to get a job than if you were a white man. Women were the same. It was hard for these people to get jobs to begin with, but as more people needed work, it got harder and harder.
 4. Who was affected by the Depression? Everyone was to some extent. People in different countries, in different states, everywhere. When a collapse happens it goes around the world
 5. How did the depression end? The depression ended but the wild spread of WWII threats and news about the war. People went to war and the goverment made more jobs by making factories to make guns. bullets and things for the war effort.
