Self portrait Halloween 2011 | The Tiger Tamer and Spiderman Halloween 2011
Dedicated to each of Eli and Naomi's unique, marvelous and loving Grandparents. With much love and appreciation, | Anna and Michael
Hi again! It's me and Noms back to tell our tale for this year. 2011 is a year with lots to share and remember. As in years past we've had tons of great times with each of our eight grandparents. We really are so blessed... | Please read on to get just a glimpse of our adventures this year... | The Many Faces of Eli and Noms
As a fun loving first grader, I am totally into school, my friends and family, but the thing that really gets my attention is SPORTS -- soccer, baseball, bike riding, skateboarding, basketball --all of it! At 4 years old, Naomi is smiley and joyful (and sometimes a rascal!), and tries as hard as she can to keep up with the big boys. | Here I am reading to Naomi! | Naomi with "Nite Nite"
This year we got to go away with Gamma and Opa to a cool campground in Pescadero called Costa Noa. During our fun weekend we rode bikes, had campfires and more! We also picked berries (see buckets above), ate ice cream and generally had a great time. Too bad the raccoons snuck off with all our berries after we went to sleep that night! | Adventures with Gamma and Opa
I had a great time climbing around on an old tractor at the berry picking farm.
Even when we are not with our grandparents, we get to play, explore and go great places all year long! | Summer Fun! | Other adventures
 Winter Fun! | Winter Fun!
Adventures with Max and Mimi | It's always a treat to go to Max and Mimi's house -- smiles for everyone, lots of cuddling, and my big cousins are usually there. (don't tell my mom, but I get to play Wii!!)
 The boys | The girls
Saba came out to California in the spring. It was during this trip that I first learned to ride my bike. It was awesome! Too bad we didn't get any pictures of that. | Thanks Boston Family for being so willing to hop on a plane! | Adventures with Saba and Savta
Here are a few cute shots from our trip to Boston in December. The sculpture garden was so cool! We also went to the Boston Children's museum, the Muppet movie and MORE!
Here are a few great shots of Noms enjoying the beach in Cabo. She's just too cool in her sunglasses | Adventures wiht Gigi and Popi
And me getting a kite flying lesson from Gigi.
When I'm not adventuring with my family, I'm mostly at school. First grade has been awesome. The whole family was there to drop me off the fist day. Knowing that I had Ms. Arroyo for another year made me feel great. I have loved learning to read, garden and cook. I also love doing art and science projects. But the real fun is at recess! | The whole family at Malcolm X on the first day of First Grade. August 2011 | Daddy came on a class field trip to San Francisco | School Adventures
And on the weekends Nomi and I love cuddling with each other in Mommy and Daddy's bed. Now that I'm in elementary school, most mornings the whole family is "up and out" so it's extra special to stay in p.j.'s and just be together. I love my sister! | Being cozy | Unadventurous
Naomi and I remain the best of friends. Sometimes we fight, but she's still my trusted partner.
Thank you for another great year!
Saba and Savta Max and Mimi Gigi and Popi Gamma and Opa WE LOVE YOU- Eli and Naomi
