Music Notes WIthout music, neither my life nor myself would be the same. It defines me in many ways and I never plan to live without it. | Milwaukee Brewers My family has always been a huge fan of the Brewers. The symbol represents the amount of time we spend talking about, watching, listening, or actually attending games of our favorite baseball team. | Satisfied Smiley Face This represents a promise I made to myself: that I will never settle for something or someone that I don't love and am not passionate about.
The Great Outdoors My family spends a ridiculous amount of time outside. Whether it's swimming, jetskiing, snowmobiling, fishing, camping, playing bag toss, or just chilling on the deck, our personality is definitely outdoors-y. | Compassion International We have sponsored a child through this program, and I believe it represents our passion for helping others less privileged than we are. Compassion for others will be a trait in my family as long as I'm alive to help it.
Hard Work My entire family is hard working. I strongly believe that spending time on something and only giving half an effort is a complete waste of time. I choose to spend my life well. | Values and Norms | Family We fall into the norm of spending a lot of time together as a family, both on my mom's and my dad's side. Simultaneously, family-time is also a value. We believe it is very important to have dinner together whenever possible and to make sure not all of our free time is spent with friends, in order to keep family close. Friends are constantly changing, but we're stuck with family... whether we like it or not.
Education I take school very seriously. I don't act like it, but anyone who was to take a look at my homework or knew how long I spent on it, would know how much I care. Getting a college education is a norm that I follow. I have never even considered not going to college. | Religion I grew up in a Christian home, and many of my personal values are based off of my faith in God and in the Cross.
Winter Fun | iPod It's a rare occasion when I don't listen to my iPod for an entire day. Music is a part of me and inside of me like emotions, and that fact is proven by the changes in which songs I actually want to listen to on a given day; some days I just let it play and others I skip over twenty songs at a time. | Snowboarding Once I switched from skiing to snowboarding, I decided I'd never go back. I'll probably be the crazy 70-year-old woman flying down the mountain on a snowboard. It's hard work and dangerous, yet freeing, and that's exactly what I want out of life. | Animals These goats are not my pets, however I have four cats between my mom's and dad's house, and used to have a dog. My love for animals definitely defines me, and will always affect my life in the future. Whether I decide to have a career with them or simply have them in my family, I will continue to be drawn to animals. | Snowmobiling I grew up on a snowmobile. I would always beg my dad to take me out, and now that I'm older we still take at least one ride every weekend I'm up at his house. I am so affected by this motor sport that I could NEVER live in a place that doesn't have enough snow to snowmobile. Something about the combination of nature and speed just keeps me addicted.
I've always loved to climb. Trees, rocks, elephants in a junk art display.. you name it. | I often receive solos to perform at the choir concerts. You could say I'm pretty proud. | I am obsessed with fireworks. Could watch them every day without getting sick of them. | Basketball is just a great sport. I used to play for the team in Menominee, but now just for fun. | I enjoy the water and enjoy doing things that get your heart racing.
Food is fantastic. End of story. My family's explanation for how much food I eat? That my leg is hollow. | Deutschland! I love to travel and aspire to do it my entire life. I would definitely say it defines part of who I am. | Again with the climbing.. | I love softball itself, but the team is also important to me. | Although I am not the greatest actress who ever lived, singing is a passion of mine. I've done the big musical each year since I was a Sophomore.
