10: New York And Philly Trip 2011 | The trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and New York, New York, was the trip of a lifetime. The LHS band got to explore sights that we had previously only dreamed of in these historic cities. One of our favorite moments was seeing all of NYC from the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center. The city was blazing with light and activity. Seeing everything Philly and the Big Apple had to offer will last forever in our hearts, but it is the memories with our friends that we hold most dear. Would Times Square have been as magical had our closet friends not been beside us? Could we have felt the eerie peace of the 9/11 Memorial without the hands of friends on our shoulder? Friends being together is what made this trip special and unique.
