 Lindsey York 2011
Growing up in the barn, I quickly learned new skills, like how to feed, care, exercise and show. The biggest lessons came getting past being a shy geek that would rather read than meet someone new. As my skills grew so did my self-confidence.
4-H has given me a lifetime of friends, many with roots to my parents' 4-H friends.
The Shy Girl enters a pageant and hauls hard for Top Ten in Texas. | Life Lesson Learned: Even if it is hard, don't give up. It can cost you!
Haul Hard or Go Home 30 Shows in one year! Major life lessons learned
4-H... Learning by doing Method Demonstrations, Livestock Judging and Volunteering
My mentors taught me much.... I learned from some of the best....
Skills learned on the farm prepared me to be self supporting. | Plumbing, fence work, training run dogs and hauling hay are all part of a day at the farm. But what doesn't break us, can make us!
