1: Chapter1 "I miss you Papa" Papa leaves to go to Alblean house. He goes to herd and get cash money.
2: Chapter 2 " Look at that big yeller dog." Arliss found a dog, a big yeller dog. The dog eats the meat and Travis started throwing rocks
3: Chapter 3 "Get out of there" Arliss and Old Yeller start swimming in the drinking pool. Also it didn't help that Arliss was naked
4: Chapter 4 | Roany Vs. Chongo There was a bull fight down by the Coats house. They knocked down the fence and Travis had to rebuild it.
5: Chapter 5 | The Collector of Unusual things. Arliss always is picking up any little critter that he sees. He also decided to catch a baby bear and the mama came after him.
6: Chapter 6 | "Let's go Arliss" Travis took Arliss to go squirrel hunting
7: Chapter 7 | "Old yeller found a home." Old Yeller was eating the towns food. He had to sleep in the house and slept with Travis.
8: Chapter 8 "Burn Sanderson." Burn Sanderson came to town and went to Travis's house. He wanted old yeller back
9: Chapter 9 "Slice Slice" | Travis climbs up a tree and pulls up the hogs. He slice and mark their ears.
10: Chapter 10 "Hog Battle" Travis fell from the tree and landed on the hogs. The hog were fighting with Travis and Old Yeller
11: Chapter 11 | "I'll be back" Travis had to leave Old Yeller and get more help. He came back with mama and they fixed him up.
12: Chapter 12 "Speckled pup" Lisbeth brought a speckled pup for Travis so he would feel better. He rudely turned her down so she gave it to Arliss.
13: Chapter 13 | "A little help" Bud Searcey and Lisbeth came to help. Travis and Old Yeller were still in really bad shape.
14: Chapter 14 "Bye Bye Bull" Travis shot one bull because it had the disease. Afterwards they had to bring the bull far away to burn it because it was right next to the drinking water.
15: Chapter 15 "Mad Wolf " There was a mad wolf that had came and Old Yeller tried to fight it off. Old yeller got bit and Travis had to shoot him.
16: Chapter 16 "Welcome home Papa" Papa finally came home and helped Travis feel better about Old Yeller's death.
