1: For Aiko, little loved one, and one who loves others. You are 2 months old tomorrow and you are grunting in your sleep behind me. I can't wait to embaress you with all the videos and pictures I'm taking. :)

4: Once upon a time there was a little girl named Raquel. She was the youngest of four sisters. Mommy's sisters are named Alma, Ana, and Rosa.

5: Raquel's parents were named Reynaldo and Olivia. | Rey was born in Mexico. He is Aiko's Grandfather | Olivia was born in Texas. Olivia is Aiko's Grandmother

6: In a place not too far away there was a boy named Ariel. | Ariel was the youngest of four brothers. His brother's names are Aaron, Ed, and Jami. But Ariel would not meet Jami and Ed for many years

7: Ariel's parents names were Jack and Suzanne. Jack was born in Iowa. He is Aiko's Grandfather. Suzanne was born in Illinois. She is Aiko's Grandmother

8: Raquel grew up with her three sisters in Wisconsin. | Ariel grew up with his brother Aaron in New Jersey

9: One day, while working at a guard, Ariel saw Raquel walking past. He watched her walk by for many nights. One day it was late and dark out so Ariel asked Raquel if she would like him to walk her to her car. Lucky for him she did. Ariel walked Raquel home every night for weeks, until one day Raquel asked Ariel out to a celebration party with friends.

10: It was Love.

11: Never again were they apart.

12: They eloped in Las Vegas on August 27th, 2003 | It wasn't long before the two were married

14: Raquel & Ariel lived happily for many years | Enjoying life with friends and family

15: For 4 years life went on

16: As the years went on they both went back to school, striving to improve their lives. | Until one day, against all expectations, the happy couple began to talk about children and family.

17: Another 3 years went by. . . They talked about starting a family more and more as time went on.

18: An in the month of October in 2010 Raquel became pregnant and began the process of creating their new baby

19: Along the way they learned as much as they could about pregnancy and being parents. They had help and guidance from family, friends, midwives, and doulas. 20: The happy parents to be knew they would be having a girl, and after many hours they found the right name for their daughter to be. Aiko Veronica Donahue-Gomez Donahue-Gomez, giving her the freedom to choose the heritage that fit her life. | Aiko, a Japanese word meaning 'beloved one' or sometimes 'One who loves others'. | Veronica, in honor of Raquel's best friend, who had passed away years before.

21: On June 27th at 3:44am, at the Well-Rounded Center for Maternity Raquel, with Ariel by her side, gave birth to their beautiful daughter. They name her Aiko Veronica Donahue-Gomez. And after that they were parents. They were Mami and Papi

22: And everyone was so excited to meet baby Aiko and so happy for the new parents. Family and friends came from far and near to meet Aiko.

24: And so in the end it was Mommy and me... ...and you. | The End but only of this book.

36: Los nuevos padres felices ya sabían que iban a tener una niña, y después de muchas horas encontraron el nombre adecuado para su hija a ser. Aiko Verónica Donahue-Gómez Donahue-Gómez, dándole la libertad de elegir la herencia que se ajustan a su vida. | Aiko, una palabra que significa 'amado' en japonés, o en ocasiones 'El que ama a los demás ". | Veronica, en honor del mejor amigo de Raquel, que había fallecido años antes.

Un día era muy tarde y estaba oscuro afuera, así que Ariel le preguntó a Raquel si le gustaría que la acompañara a su coche. Para suerte de él, ella aceptó. Por unas semanas Ariel acompaño a Raquel a su casa todas las noches, hasta que un día Raquel invitó a Ariel a una fiesta de celebración con sus amigos.
