1: One of the main cause of the Great depression was the Stock Market crash of 1929. | many people believe that the depression occurred on October 29, 1929 on a Black Tuesday.
4: Life during great depression was very hard trying to make ends meet. people had to walk thousands of miles just to see relatives and teenager left home to search for better lifestyle or for food.
5: All who was affected by the depression were families and kids mostly and especially the banks/stock markets because they are trying to also make end meet. also trying to get everything back together.
8: The Great Depression took place from 1930 to 1939. During this time the stock fell about 40%. 9,000 banks went out of business and 9 million saving were wiped out. 86,000 business' failed and wages were decreased by an average of 60%. the unemployment rate went from 9% to 25%. About 15 million people jobless.
12: the Great depression ended from countries around the world moved from the depression and started moving at various times. Many countries began to recover from it around 1933.
