FC: Do What Makes You Happy | A Personal Philosophy of Leisure By: Jenn Daigle
For as long as I can remember, my grandmother always told me to "Do what makes me happy". This was her philosophy to living a meaningful life and I do what I can to live by this philosophy as well. Life is not all play, but if you work hard and make the time, life can be quite fun.
What Makes Me Happy ........ ??????
Spending time with my family is my most important past time. | "Sometimes fun is just being together" - Wes Fessler
Music is a huge part of my life and fits it with many of my leisure activities. In the past few years music has done so much for me. Five years ago, I would never even dream of getting up in front of a crowd, now, it is one of my favorite things to do. The confidence I've gained from playing music has affected all aspects of my life for the better. It has made me more social, has given me a positive activity to focus on, it gives me the opportunity to share something wonderful with my family (ie. my nieces) and I've acquired many skills organizing and promoting events. | "One good thing about music is when it hits you, you feel no pain" - Bob Marley
" You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than a year of conversation" - Plato
Making time for the things that make me happy is my main philosophy of leisure. If I didn't spend time with my friends and family, playing ,listening and dancing to music, trying new things and getting outdoors - I would be living a miserable life. I believe that the simple things in life are what can keep us the happiest. Taking time for these things helps me maintain balance and gives relief when things get tough/
How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You! | Live well, laugh often, love much
"He holds her hand,She holds his heart."
To the world you may be one person, but to me you are the world.
