12: CASA LOMA IN TORONTO Building began in 1911 and took nearly three years to build, at a cost of $3,500,000 at that time. Sir Henry Mill Pellatt and his wife Lady Mary enjoyed the castle for less than ten years before financial misfortune forced them to abandon the castle.
13: THE CONSERVATORY To the right is a picture of the ceiling. Below is a set of gold doors that cost $10,000 when the castle was built. There are three sets of doors in the conservatory.
16: To the left is the tunnel that leads to the wine cellar, the swimming pool and the exercise room. | T To the right is the stable. Each stall had a plaque with the horse's name on it. This was Lord Kitchener's stall.
