Also invented plow to make farming easier. | Religion controls government, priest hears from god. | Hammurabi's code was the first set of written laws(based on eye for an eye). | Had a very important building called the Ziggurat,holy temple and government building.

5: Himalaya's mountains to the south and Gobi desert to the north. | They saw their culture as the center of civilization world. | Family is the central ancestor, brings blessings or curses. | Flood control and irrigation. | They built the great wall of china.

6: Egypt

7: Nile river provides land(when river overflows). | Pharaohs rule as kings seen as a god. | Pyramids tombs for pharaohs. | Mummification is the process of preserving the body of the afterlife. | Famous pharaohs were the family tut and ramses family.

8: Indus

9: Is between the Indus and Ganges rivers. | All towns have a major building in the center. | Have some written language, but historians can not understand the Indus language. | They invented the plumbing and sewage system. | They planned their cities on a grid system.
