1: It's been a busy year and now it time for 2009 TARS CONVENTION The 2009 TARS Convention is being held at the Music Road Hotel and Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, TN | OCTOBER 2009

18: As our Squad continues to grow, we had to add and addition. A few members came to help add some paneling to the new addition | Dale Evans, Vince Nolen, Charlie Merrell | Charlie Merrell cuts the plywood for a custom fit. | Almost done, the members take a little break.

Somebody has to get down there. | The job is finished, the members admire their work and visit, and plan the next work. 22: NOVEMBER McCartney Produce Truck Overturned

23: HELPING OUR SISTER ANGIE SMITH During this month we were honored to go remove two big pine trees that had fallen in Angie's yard. Angie is a cancer patient and not able to get the trees removed without help. | So, on this beautiful fall morning, several of our members came together to get this job done . Danny & Andrea Tucker, Debra Merrell, Carol Tedford, Randy & Debbie Canady, James Martin, Eddie Haynes, Will Forrest, and Adam Kennon came to help.

24: DECEMBER IS TIME FOR THE JAYCEES SHOPPING TOUR FOR CHILDREN | This is always a fun mission And a joy to be able to help kids have a good Christmas. Thanks JAYCEES

25: We also assist the Paris Police and the Henry County Sheriffs Dept with their "Shop With A Cop" Below is a scene from the Walmart on Shop Day. | Above: Officers bring out the carts for the little shoppers.

30: DOWNTOWN PARIS CHRISTMAS PARADE 2009 | Our Squad helps with traffic at intersections, and helping people with directions and parking at events like this. It's always fun and entertaining for us, and it gives us a chance to be out with the community.

32: New Years Day 2010 | POLAR PLUNGE 2010 To Benefit the Borys and Girls Club in Henry County. Our job was to be on the water and be ready to help if someone got into trouble in the fridgid water. | PHCRS

34: January brought loss to our EMS Family in Henry County. We lost Lane Sykes who served in our Squad and as a Paramedic both in Henry County and Weakley Co. We'll Miss You "Papa Smurf!" | In Loving Memory of Paramedic Lane Sykes

35: Eddie Haynes on the SkiBarge | PHCRS WAS CALLED TO ASSIST IN A SEARCH AT CLIFTON, TN AS PART OF AN INVESTIGATION OF A MISSING WOMAN. INVESTIGATORS WANTED SQUADS TO SEARCH THE RIVER. | The Body of the Woman was later found by Law Enforcement.

40: As is often the case, we had just recently finished our EVR Class, when this serious accident occurred at a busy intersection. | FEBRUARY IN THE NEWS

41: MARCH 2010 | With little to do in March, I decided to start a photo project of our Squad Members. So I took pictures of them when I found them in uniform.

42: In Loving Memory of Ricky Gatlin Dyer County Rescue Squad Ricky passed away suddenly a year ago this month. A great man and dedicated Squad Member. He Will | April 2010 The Region IV Family Looses A Friend

43: CALLED TO A SEARCH IN DYER COUNTY

44: Squad Members assist with traffic for the FISH FRY PARADE | We help with the Rodeo and various other activities and help visitors find all the events of the FISH FRY.

45: TOP RIGHT: The Law Enforcement moves the people back as the parade steps off. Our Crash Truck helps lead the Parade. | APRIL 2010

46: The Governor of the State of Tennessee proclaimed that May 23 - 29, 2010 would be Rescue Squad Week in Tennessee. | May 2010

47: In the merry month of May, it started to Rain. And it Rained and it Rained some more. These are pictures of Paris Landing when the rain stopped. | We Found this Jeep Cherokee still sitting in it's parking spot and almost totally covered by the water. The owner has a house boat in the slips behind the car.

48: May brought us to Pegram to search for a young man who was swept away in the flood waters. A meeting was held at the Elementary School in Pegram to brief all the people who came to help with the search. | Johnny Tummins brought all the searchers together and presented maps of the Harpeth River area that had been devasted by the flood waters. | MAY 2010 | JOHNNY

50: Each year in May, the City of Puryear, Tn, has a day of Celebration. On this day, there is a parade, good food, lots of activities, and good fellowship. The Rescue Squad is invited to come to this celebration, participate in the Parade and other activities. We take this opportunity to display our truck and equipment and show the people a little of what we do. We have two members who live in Puryear. Ted Hart and Eddie Haynes. | PURYEAR DAY CELEBRATION MAY 2010 | PHCRS Unit 341 in the Parade at Puryear Day. | We are always proud to be a part of this day!

63: This drill involved three chemicals , two vehicles. three patients, and was staged in a well populated neighborhood. PHCRS had to go door to door to advise the citizens of the danger and have them shelter in their homes, and then help with the accident scene. | S E P T E M B E R | Had another slow month, but still were involved in an interesting drill.
