Language Arts Poem Language Arts is boring It’s as if the old man is snoring You practice skills like mechanics and grammar Are we going to ever use these in a real life manner? Language Arts class is so tedious Reading all these books that make me delirious We learn of great heroes and war Yet their feats of glory seems so far
Self-Respect Poem Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I’ll work hard, sometimes I won’t. Depending on my motivation, I might even win the Nobel Prize. It really just depends on me pushing for success. I’m not the average high school student. And I ain’t going to stop being different now. But I learned to keep some things to myself, Because I am only one among the many I’m not ever going to be like anyone else. My worth is not determined by the clothes or shoes I wear. No matter what I do in life, I will always be Aditya Reddy.
My Mother's Kitchen The aroma of fresh baked cookies searched the house, Probing every nook and corner, even for a mouse The smell was of that sent from high heaven, Beckoning with its spice and cinnamon Even when cookies are not the choice of food, One can always be within the sight of something good My aunt found this to her liking, As she walked in, and kidnapped whatever was satisfying A look around reveals a hidden jungle, Sprouts of green, orange, and red, all packed in a bundle The bright smell of flowers has no bounds, Their odor can be detected even by hounds
The arrays of scents are never of something dead, But rather of those easily found in a flower bed If you do smell something dead, it is an extremity, Don’t worry, there won’t be a calamity The sound of the metallic monster, Is a regular song to her It sounds as if it gargles silverware, Yet it feels no harmful scare The family gathers here, As there is nothing in here to fear One can be as open as they wish Without having to eat an insult like a dinner dish In my mother’s kitchen, You won’t find fried chicken, But food that is comforting and hearty to me, As it is a place to love, not just a place to eat, can’t you see?
GSMST Tribute Poem I will not write this poem, But I must, in order to get a grade to satisfy them A tribute I must write, despite my desire to fight An epic battle with myself it will be, one which will be enveloped in light I walk down these halls, Oppressed by these bare white walls Club posters are all I see, Too much information, it makes me want to flee
Despite my love and relationship with this school, Dropping out only makes you look like a fool I've made too many new friends, Ones that are not pretend Behind these sullen words, Lays a boy ready to fly like a bird His life is driven by pencils and pens, And not what he wishes happens. But I will always carry these memories, As they will be a part of me for centuries.
I Sometimes Say Never By: Rustin Hieber (Nigahiga - Ryan Higa) See I never thought that I could be a singer, and I’m not And I never thought I’d be six feet tall, I’m short I never thought I’d be a telemarketer, would you like to buy some toner... I never thought never did think I’d fall, what! And I’m not being pessimistic, stick I’m just being realistic, real a stick You should give everything you have, but remember this I will sometimes say never I said it 6 times so far I will eat peanut butter Just cause it rhymes Whenever my dog makes poo, you know what I make you do
Pick it up Pick it up Pick it up Pick it up Up Up UP Unless you say never I I sometimes say never I I sometimes say never I I sometimes say never Repetition is catchy TEEHEE
