1: This is a book filled with pages from my study abroad trip from January 23rd, 2011 to May 21st, 2011. It includes photographs, journal entries and memories from my time spent in Paris, France as well as from my trips to Bruges, Mont Saint-Michel, Saint-Malo, Dublin, Rome, Amsterdam, London and Berlin. | "I walked outside today to find it was just like yesterday, nothing had changed and I loved it just the same" - Scott Albrecht
9: I love this city. I love this city to death. I love listening to Jonsi on the metro and the wind from the arriving and departing trains. I love the clamber to get in the car, sometimes packed like sardines, groping for something to hold onto, unless its really packed in which case we're all just using each other to not fall over. I love the various scents of people as the run past me in a hurry to catch a different line, the smell of the bakery in Republique and all of the delicious breads and pastries. I love walking with a purpose and holding my head up, as well as imagining everyone else who walks alongside of me is listening to the same upbeat song as I am. Sometimes I imagine the French are secretly just as happy as I am that they live in Paris. I love walking out of Saint Maur and walking down the rue past Florentin and the Charcuterie, past the men who always stand outside of the brasserie and past the magasin des fleurs. I love being a Parisian on the weekdays and a tourist on the weekends. I love spontaneous trips and even rainy walks home from the metro. I love wandering. Every day is planned but somehow its still not.
