Martinsville Grand Prix May 21-22, 2011
Thunder in the Valley was Aden's first race. He qualified 1st and everything looked great until... After running through some water, the spark plug blew out of the engine and ended our day early. Aden and Chris were so disappointed, but we learned a lot that weekend. Little did we know what we were in for with racing.
Watch out for that hay bale. He only bent a spindle and rod when he crashed into the hay bale during practice. Fortunately, we were able to straighten everything out and slide by with replacing a few minor parts.
Rain, rain, go away. Little Aden wants to race, come again another day. Saturday was wet and chilly for June and not too much fun for the pit crew. Sunday was not quite as bad and cleared in time for the race. He came in second not too bad for the second race of the season. | Brazil June 18-19, 2011 Forest Park, Brazil IN Tri-oval track
 Brazil June 18-19, 2011
Aden and Elijah Fox after the race at Brazil. | Aden's first trophy. Not sure who was prouder? Aden or Chris!
Goodland Grand Prix June 25-26, 2011 During practice on Saturday, Aden worked his way to the front, making some great passes. He finished first in the qualifying race. After battling carburetor problems on Sunday, he finished third in the main event.
The town of Goodland put on a great show. The Grand Marshal, Gov. Mitch Daniels waved the green flag to start the racing after the parade. | Goodland Grand Prix June 25-26, 2011
 August 6-7, 2011
Clinton was our first Indy Karting Series race of the year. Aden qualified first for the heat race and ran the fastest times during the race. Caught behind lap traffic, Aden just did not have enough time to overtake the leader.
Portage Perch Fest Grand Prix August 13-14, 2011 Portage was Aden's first race on rain tires. Amazingly, he turned faster laps resulting in the first win of the season.
One of the great things about racing is getting to hang out with your friends at some pretty cool places.
We took advantage of being minutes away from Lake Michigan and stopped in for a quick peek.
Franklin Grand Prix August 20, 2011
Rubbin's Racin'! Franklin was the most challenging track with it's 180 degree turn going uphill.
Greenwood Grand Prix September 10-11, 2011 Honoring those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Thank you to the Greenwood Fire Department for including Indy Karting Series in their memorial service.
 Ceraland September 24-25, 2011
Aden always loves to race in the rain, and today he got his way. Things looked great from the onset. Aden qualified first and had the kart to beat. Last minute problems led to a second place finish. Aden really enjoyed the hills and park setting here at Ceraland. Thanks to Cummins for the awesome trophies.
Last race of the season! It was awesome to be in our home town and bring home a victory.
Mooresville Grand Prix October 1-2, 2011 | After qualifying first, Aden started the final race at the back of the field due to technical issues during the heat race.
