FC: ROCK RIDGE FARMS 2011 LAWRENCEBURG, KENTUCKY
1: The name Rock Ridge originated from an old town out of the 1974 classic movie, “Blazing Saddles”. Unlike the movie where Rock Ridge is a frontier town about to be destroyed in order to make way for a new railroad, the farms of Rock Ridge in Lawrenceburg KY prove to be a diamond in the rough. The surnames of Rock Ridge are “151”, “the Route Farm” and “Ninevah”. Rock Ridge hosts striking fields of grass hay, Angus heifers, calves & bulls, tractors, wooden barns and the occasional howling packs of coyotes. The only exception in the real life of Rock Ridge Farms is not everyone has the last name of Johnson, well some do... ”Men, you are about to embark on a great crusade to stamp out runaway decency in the west. Now you men will only be risking your lives, whilst I will be risking an almost certain Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.” - Hedley Lamarr
