S: Seasons of Change
FC: Slavery Report Project By Antoni Lijewski AL132802
1: From the 16th century until the 19th century, 10 to 5 million Africans were transported from Africa to the Americas.
4: European traders would pack thousands of slaves into cramped quarters of slave ships and take them across the Atlantic for sale in the AMericas. Many slaves died on this passage. The slave trade affected Africa in different ways. In some places, it did not affect some parts of Africa. In some areas however, the slave trade caused conflict and strife among different tribes. Another effect of the slave trade was slave traders destroying villages and families when they came to a community. Most family members never saw each other again. They were not killed immediately, but in a way, they had their lives taken from them.
