S: How to go pro in math

FC: How to go go pro in math

 CHAPTER 1 When doing equations you must always follow the rules if you doing something on one side you must do it on the other side. E very thing is opposite when doing equations. x + 12=24 -12 -12 x= 12 | PROBLEMS 1. x + 30 = 90 2. x + 80 = 160 3. x + 13 = 52 4. x + 72 = 144 5. x - 13 = 26 6. x - 64 = 128 7. x - 18 = 36 8. x - 36 = 77 9. x - 77 = 2345 10. x - 65 = 789

 two step example x/4 - 5=18 -5 -5 (4)x/4=(4)13/4 x=52 | when doing two step equations you must do the opposite when dividing you must multiply and when adding you must subtract. | Problems 1. x/9 - 8 = 44 2. x/11 -5=44 3. x/9 - 32 =9 4. x/9 - 11=9 5. x/99 -54=9 6. x/9 - 78=9

 Tips sometimes when you are doing two step equations they can be confusing. All you have to do is remember that everything is opposite.

 add=subtract subtract=add divide=multiply multiply=divide

 Chapter 2 Fractions First, when you are dividing fractions you turn the problem into an improper fraction. After you make the problem improper you cross cancel. Next, you change the sign of the problem. Lastly, you change the problem into an proper fraction.

 Jackie Robinson

 GO TEAM! | Tips if you can remember good then you can remember this song for dividing fractions. When you divide fractions you must flip it (Reciprocal) change the sign (divide= multiply) make the fraction improper then cross cancel and multiply. Reduce that thing. If you can remember this then your good to go so next time you have a problem like this try your best. * follow the rules Problems 3/4 / 3/6 4/5 / 5/6 9/10 / 5/7

 BASEBALL

 Chapter 3 P.E.M.D.A.S. Every letter has a meaning P-Parenthesis E-exponents M-Multiply D-Division A-Addition S-subtraction It also means Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally.

 Independent Problems (19+7)x(76-18)+6 19+-67x15/3 15x37+(82-75)x24

 A P.E.M.D.A.S. problem goes in order by every letter. (6+4)x(10+8)-3 First, you start with the p or parenthesis 10x18-3+6 The next letter is E and it stands for exponents but if it isn't there then skip it. Next, is the M which means to multiply 180-3+6 The next letter is D but it isn't there also so skip it The next letter is D and it means division but it isn't there so skip it too Next is the A and it means to add 180-9 Finally, the S and it means to subtract 171 And thats how you work a P.E.M.D.A.S problem

 Tips

 GOAL! | Area and Perimeter | Area is the inside of the shape, while perimeter is the outside edges

 The perimeter of the shape is 15 inches on the length of the shape, while the width is 20 on one side. What is the overall perimeter? a) 19 b) 61 c) 70

 GOAL! | Play Ball! | GOOD JOB!

 GO TEAM! | A tip for doing this is to make sure that you add up all the sides if the numbers aren't on all of them
