To my baseball career, I would have to say that my grandpa has been my biggest influence. He not only started me on the path of playing sports, but he has became much, much, more than that. He has become the role model for my life. Also, I would like to dedicate this to my friends, who have helped me become who I am today.
Setting | The setting of all stars was mainly at Camp Hill, at Fiala fields. We also played some games in Mifflin County. This was in 2008, when our team was 11 years old.
External Conflict | One time, in 2006, I went to the Conodoguinet with Austin, and, while there, got bit by an insect. My arm swelled up two times its normal size. It hurt too. But, I had a game that night. And worst of all, I had to pitch. I didn't know if I should pitch or not, but I did, and I threw a 3 hitter.
Mood | At all-star practice, it was generally a fun mood. Unlike most teams that do well, we did not have two-a-days. Nor did we have tough practices. We actually played a lot of random games during practice. Best of all, we all had names for each other. so during practice, we joked around a lot.
Round Character | I was (and our whole team) a round character during all star season. Before the season, we were conceited, and after, we felt like we had failed our coaches and parents. Most of all, I felt like I had failed myself. After the season, I, and I believe our whole team, realized that we were very conceited, and that we needed more hard work and practice.
Flat Character | My Grandfather has been a flat character in my life. He has constantly been my role model, and he never stops giving advice and help to anyone who needs it. He does things for everyone: He is a retired dentist, along with being a little league coach for countless years, basketball coach for more than that even, and a softball coach for a few years. He is generally an amazing person, and that wont ever change.
Internal Conflict | I have had many internal conflicts in my life, but perhaps the greatest one, is one that still lingers on even today. I have constantly been sick before any important things. In K-4th grade, I used to be sick every single day before class started. I eventually just sort of grew out of it, but even today, before a game or midterm, or anything of the sort, I still get sick.
