1: Central Concepts; | Space Time Compression: A phone reduces the amount of time for information to be transferred(reduces time). | Place: A house is a place because it's an area of bounded space and it is important to a human. | Functional Region: The area is a focus or point of origin that expresses some purpose. | Space: The space between two houses.
2: Spacial Interaction | iPad apps represents stimulus diffusion because it inspires the creation of new creations. | Arithmetic Density: It shows the number of people on the land at the mall. | Relocation Diffusion: Panda Express finds different locations to increase the amount of people. | Hierarchical Diffusion: It orginates from a central place and then expands outward in all directions.
3: Geographic tools | Map Scale: It shows the ratio of a distance on a map. | thematic map- its a thematic because of the agricultural regions in TX. | Chloropeth Maps:It expresses the theme with color variations. This is a Chloropeth map of the stonebriar mall. | Topographic Map:This map shows the contour elevation of Dallas.
4: Models | How the amount of time spent studying affects grades. | How much time you spend tanning affects your skin color | How much water you drink affects your urination. | How much books read affects your education
5: Geopgraphic technology | GPS: The GPS shows map data for locations and distance. | GSI: The iphone has a map which allows you to analyze mapping and data. | Compass: The iphone has an compass which allows you know which direction your going in.
6: c o n c l u s i o n | Everywhere we go, we experience some sort of world geography. We use world geography everyday too! Without world geography, the world would be in a big mess.
