S: Gladiola Science Experiment
BC: This book was created by Cole Stringer.
FC: Cole Stringer's Gladiola
1: This experiment is a comparison between artificial light, & natural with artificial light, & how that affects plant growth, more specifically that of a Gladiola.
2: My hypothesis: I thought that the plants in Mr. Sasse's room would go faster due to the fact that they were receiving both natural and artificial light.
3: My hypothesis was wrong in terms of height, but the plants in Mr. Sasse's room did grow to be more sturdy as to where the plants in Mrs. Wakefield's room were flimsy.
4: Chart: A representation of data. | This chart represents my plant's growth compared to Mr. Sasse's class and Mrs. Wakefield's class. Note: My plant is the green pyramid
5: This is a line graph, it shows the same information that the pyramid graph did, but it is represented in a different manner.
6: This is known as a scatter chart, it is kind of like an unfinished version of the line graph, they just didn't connect the dots.
7: This is a pie chart, it represents data by making it looks like all the pieces make a whole, how ever, this is just a comparison.
8: These pictures of my plant were in the beginning of the experiment where it hadn't yet sprouted.
9: Left: This was my plant on day 22 of the experiment. | Right: This was my plant on day 30 of the experiment. Once the experiment ended, it was 35 cm. tall.
