1: Our first stop is usually Bully Hill Vineyards. It is located on Keuka Lake and is named after Bully Hill, England. and autumn a mosaic of them all." - Stanley Horowitz

2: We have all enjoyed wine for some time. In the spring of 2003, we took our first trip to New York Wine Country. The six of us started with the Chautauqua Wine Trail, then on the following days, began to explore the Finger Lakes. It is an annual tradition now, and we love it! The beauty of the vineyards, the aroma of the grapes and the taste of the VINO!

12: Vino | A myth about wine is , it is a beverage that exclusively accompanies dinner. The good news is that one can drink wine before and/or after meals...or simply by itself.

13: It's Turkey Time! | We actually begin our tasting right after breakfast.

24: White wines vary from bone dry to golden sweet. The higher the residual sugar, the sweeter is the wine.

25: May the bounty of the season fill your heart home. and wine racks. | While tasting wines at Bully Hill we learned how to look for clarity, sniff the bouquet and appreciate the flavor, from dry to sweet.

26: Long before a glass of wine ever touches your lips, a large degree of carefully calculated science goes into producing the beverage.

27: Vino Terms Aroma: Usually refers to the particular smell of the grape variety, ie. "appley", "raisiny", "fresh" or "tired". Legs: The viscous droplets that form and ease down the sides of the glass when wine is swirled.

28: "Finish: The taste that remains in the mouth after swallowing. A long finish indicates a wine of good quality. | Bouquet: A tasting term used to describe the smell of the wine as it matures in the bottle.

29: Fall Days & Wine Days Are Fun Days | Body: The weight of the wine in your mouth, commonly expressed as full-bodied, medium-weight, or light-bodied.
