3: The exposure to the oil as well as chemicals used in clean-up affects the shellfish's reproduction, growth, and behavior. | Crab | Oysters | Mussels
4: Sharks | Whale Shark | Nurse Shark
5: These are the sharks that are currently being affected by the oil. The nurse sharks breed where the oil was split and whale sharks filter feed causing them to take in oil.
6: Sea Turtles | Green Turtle | Turtles near the oil spill may eat tar balls. They also have no place to lay their eggs when the beaches become contaminated.
7: Fish | Marlin are on the top of the food chain so they eat fish that have become contaminated with the oil. | Marlin
8: Bluefin Tuna | The tuna breed in the Gulf of Mexico and the young fish are especially vulnerable to the toxins in the oil. | Grouper | The groupers live in coral reefs and when the oil slick hits these areas the grouper's lose their homes.
