FC: Pawprints On Our Hearts
Annie Sue and Sally Jo | Pawprints On Our Hearts | Unconditional Love
I'm Annie Sue. It was in 2005 that Mommy and Daddy traveled all the way across the state of NC to Murphy to get me. You see, they had lost their beloved Maggie and were looking for another baby to love. They followed a winding dirt path up the wooded mountain to the house where I was waiting for them. I was very shy and hid under the table until Mommy encouraged me to come out. As soon as she held me, she knew she had to take me home. I sat in her lap as we traveled back across the state to Mount Olive. I was the sweetest little baby you have ever seen and still am. | A dog is a bundle of love wrapped in fur.
This is Sally Jo. After I had been with Mommy and Daddy for several weeks, Daddy received a phone call from Debbie (the lady that had bathed and groomed Maggie). She told him that she had a dog that needed a home and that she looked like Maggie. Well, Daddy went out to look at her and insisted that Mommy go also. Mommy hesitated going since they had just recently gotten me. She knew in her heart what would happen if she went to see her. /And sure enough, when Mommy saw her in that crate and then held her, she just had to bring her home. So that's how we came to have Sally. We're so thankful that Daddy convinced Mommy to go look at her. She has brought so much happiness to all of us. | PUPPY LOVE
I immediately took on the role of mother to Sally Jo even though she is two years older. She was born about March 1, 2003 and I was born on March 1, 2005. She loves for me to wash her ears. In fact, she demands it.
A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than you love yourself." - Josh Billings
A Dog's Life | Sally is very bossy. At mealtime she goes from one bowl to the other. I stand back and let her have her way. When I feel it is safe, I grab a bite ( or two, or three).
One of our most favorite things to do is ride the golf cart. We love to ride around the neighborhood and then ride down to the beach. As soon as we top the hill, we get so excited that we want to jump out of the cart. When Daddy or Mommy parks, we jump out and start running to the beach. We LOVE it. | Annie | Mommy | Daddy
We love to walk and play on the beach. We especially like it when there aren't many people there and we can take off our leashes. We chase each other and we chase seagulls. We don't like to get in the water but the sand sure feels good. | We run round and round in circles until we get Mommy all tangled in our leashes. She doesn't like that because it cuts her legs. | Sally Jo | FUN IN THE SUN

Annie and Sally Jo certainly make our lives whole. We are blessed that they share so much love with us. They definitely have left pawprints on our hearts.
